as long as you are with me
we are home
when i mess up you forgive me
i am home

i know that if we're separate
and that i am off alone
that when we're back together
i am home

it may be in a castle
owned by a long dead king
or even in a trailer
or on an old porch swing

driving on the highway
in the ruins of old rome
as long as we're together
it is home
as long as we're together
it is home

a house is just a building
if you're in it all alone
but without someone to share with
it's no home

a palace or apartment
or a building made of foam
without the love to form it
it ain't home
without the love to form it
it ain't home

as long as you are with me
it's a home
with you standing there beside me
we are home

our love will last forever
build a bond as strong as stone
for where ever we're together
we are home
babe....where ever we're together
we are home
