26 letters of the English language.
Twenty-six letters strung in all the right places.
Twenty-six letters strung out in all the wrong places.
How powerful could twenty-six letters really be?

The power of words is often underestimated.
Fore they could mend a broken heart.
They could save a life.
And yet, words could start a war.
Words can rip apart the very fabric of your heart.

Words can break everything inside you.
Or they could fix whatever’s left.
Don’t let these lies fool you.

Words have meaning.
Words hurt and words heal.
The wounds are cut open.
The scars are healing.

Words really do hurt.
Believe me when I tell you.
It’s not a pretty picture.

A world full of hateful words.
A broken heart scattered here and there.
A happy soul left and right.

Words have meaning.
Words are what you are reading.
Words change the world.
Mighty Oak

Stand tall oh mighty oak, for all the world to see,
your strength and undying beauty forever amazes me.
Though storm clouds hover above you,
your branches span the sky,
in search of the radiant sunlight you
count on to survive.
When the winds are high and restless and
you lose a limb or two,
it only makes you stronger, we
could learn so much from you.
Though generations have come and gone
and brought about such change,
quietly you've watched them all yet still
remained the same.
I only pray God give to me the strength he's
given you,
to face each day with hope, whether
skies are black or blue,
Life on earth is truly a gift
every moment we must treasure,
it's the simple things we take for granted
that become our ultimate pleasures.

Corina
There was a time i knew
exactly where i stood
God created life on earth
and everything was good

Just pray twice for every meal
read your bible without thinking
in case of questions: parents are right
and the church agrees with them

I want that back
i want to crawl inside my homophobic misogynistic childhood
stay there, not knowing i'll grow up to be a gay, powerful, woman
i never lost God while growing up
but i miss my faith in self righteousness

*It felt good, to know everything.
