He lies flat on the rooftop
looking at the stars.

Useless worlds birthing and dying
he muses
the colossal magnificence of waste

if atrophy is the verdict
why create a complex web of universe
just because someone from an island
would stare at them
in awe of the beauty
seeking a key to the riddle
himself a grain of dust
lost in reading the firmament
and not grasping
of what significance
he is
within his shrinking space and time
in an expanding universe.

fog
sitting here with a cup of coffee
and a beautiful view of the beach
watching all the idiots running by
(because in my opinion it's one of
the most touristy things you can do)
and I'm trying to sort things out
but it's not good enough, never is
and this fog rolls in, blocking my view
and it shows how little anything matters
we are all b sides standing on the edge of
nothingness

i guess i should lace up my running shoes.

nivek
my nose hasn't poked out the door for seven days
could say I have been minding my own business
but in truth I just love the warm cuddle of solitude.
I fill my heart
I fill my heart with you
when there is only blue
and everything is hollow

I grab a star
I grab a star for you
what would you have me do
I will always follow

we sail
into the open Sea
the Sky
the only blue I see
your eyes
they are the first to see
me
they are the first to see
me

you came along
you change the colors too
what a thing to do
when everything is  hollow
I like to take songs and play with the words on occasion. This might be better if you sing 'Yellow' instead of a straight read. Ha! Ha!

The Moon

I've lost track of the moon,
I was away for a month
In a cloudy place.
I've lost track of the moon.

The stars were in hiding too.
Sirius, where were you
my brilliant gem?
You, who was rising in the
early dawn sky as my
daughter was born.
I've lost track of the moon
