On an empty canvas
i slowly draw an outline of me
but I disappear within those lines
and the border are no longer
who I am

Transforming
ever changing
Free me if you have captured
a photo of me
Kept me in your memory
I am caged there
awaiting to be released

It's what we tend to do
Keep hostages of past selves
We don't see how it is now
The jigsaw which fitted yesterday
is missing pieces today.

                                     The True First Day of Summer

                                “This is the day the Lord hath made…”

When teachers fold their leathery wings and sleep
Hidden away in their bat-cave deep
In the darkness where foul things lurk and creep -
Only then may children freely laugh and leap

No more tiresome lessons about “lie” and “lay’
A child may lie in the glass or lay in the hay
Run out to the lawns and fields to play
And joy in the freedom of each summer day

The 20th of June? A fallacious rule -
Summer begins on the last day of school!

Sad I float by
Like the lonely cloud in the clear sky,
I feel as though like the deep sea,
No one truly knows me.
There are some things I wish not to recall,
Inevitably like rain they must fall,
As dark days behest loneliness,
I search deep within in silence,
I realise what I seek is there in me
Here, there, everywhere free,
Enough my ownself.

When I travel through time,
I recognize the past as painful
and the future as full of hope,
With all the desires of me , located in
I wish I could travel to a dreamland and find the lost wishes.
