From now on whenever you see
the moon,
you will remember the way my hair smelled,
you will remember my essence,
you will remember me.

and my love will leave you
behind like the shadows
that stay away from the sun.

You broke the girl with the golden smile.
You watched the light drain from her eyes.
A thousand I'm sorrys could never reclaim
The one who was your rainbow after the rain.
Why can't you let me be happy without you?
Why must you make sure that I'm feeling pain?
Why is it so hard for you to tell the truth?
Why did you love me then take it away?

You were the one who laughed at my sorrow.
You never tried to give me your best.
I thought we were fine but your love is hollow.
I thought you were different. You're just like the rest.

Is it my fault for being so blind?
I made a promise that I didn't keep.
I swore I'd never regret our time.
But you are the reason I cry in my sleep.
Whenever someone asks how I am, I lie. I save my truth for my poetry.
It's as if my heart is sewn to yours
And as we grow apart,
The threads are ripping out of mine.
You have the stronger heart.

But my soft heart can feel each tear
You barely even flinch
I can't tell if you feel at all
As you rip me stich by stich.

And now I'm here, all ripped and torn
And here is where I'll stay
Pieces of my heart still belong to you
But you've had your final say.
In the distance I could hear her roaring
I could hear the rolling of the clouds
She is a force of nature
She lifted me up, twisted me around
she blew me away

She took me like a storm when first she walked in
Her sweet warm kisses tasted like spring
But she refused to let the sunshine all the way in
and now she’s gone, gone, gone like the wind

I tried following her traces
of debris and broken glass
I found my heart amongst the rubble
bruised, battered, beating fast

She took me like a storm when first she walked in
I miss the way she used to brush up against my skin
Her sweet warm kisses sent me into a spin
before she turned, and went like the wind
( Stian Eriksen - heartbeast )
She loves me
she loves me not
she loves me
look what I've got,
a lot of petals on the floor
she loves me
and
she loves me more.

These oceans are named *Between.

Yes, I know them all.
They've separated me before
By water's solid wall.

But I imagine when I
Jump and make a splash
At my local Brighton beach
That ripple travels
To your shore so
You're never out of reach!

And at these rugged shores
That ripple reaches land.
As good as any letter penned,
A wave; an outstretched hand.

Like a message in a bottle
I hope it reaches you
Every nuance of my love and care
Dripped in oceans blue

Much more comfort in that
Bottle, than the one before
Me now. Its insides shared
With me; still I am emptier
...somehow.

Well you can't run on empty
So let me fill your cup
With seashells whispers
Wisdom pearls
And jellied joy to
Fill you up

A whispered wish
An uttered prayer.
That space that pushes
Here from there to
Disappear; give room for
Place to share as lair,
There's places everywhere...
