Why do I reach out to comfort the whole rest of the world
And have no pity for the little girl that hides in my dark corners.
Why do I extend the hand of empathy to everyone but me.
Why is it I don't find me worthy of the love I give to others.

There is no answer to those painful questions.
No one to ask - no book to read.
I either find a pathway to the sunshine
Or content myself to live in shade.
Red and amber sky
Tinges of blue
fading

Fire blazing sun
Slowly
cascading

Velvet clouds
Frozen in time
Like decorative lace

Holding their breath
Anticipating the illuminated moon
to take the restless sun's place.

Another beautiful sunset
Truly blessed

On the barren
head of this plateau,
you're the midpoint.

A curious moon peeps
from the curve
of your neck,
flooding the
shoulders of solitude.

With a cello
between legs,
and a bow made
of moonbeams
you string those
rare beads of a tune.

Birth of sound
makes the sleeping
auras trembled.

Ancient souls explode,
fragmented forces
drink fresh
transcendence.
I stand on the eastern side
of the rainbow bridge
without a passport
I cannot cross

The sunless day offers
slate gray backdrops
to white billows
rising from roaring falls

During the night
I watched the towers
of the city on the opposite shore
it's lights sparkled
throughout the evening
illuming descending flurries
like bits of pastel graffiti

On the morn of my birthday
the snow squalls rise and fall
suspending snowflakes
in an aerial dance

Yes, it is time to dance....
