If you find a way to feed it,
help it grow,
and keep it alive;
it will find a way to feed you,
help you grow,
and keep you alive.
2014
Moment of passion,
Like a smile,
So easily shared.
looking down
at the grains of
sand
encrusted upon
my tide washed feet

i pause to ponder

how much older,
and far better traveled
these tiny chips of calcified
life and mountain grit must be...

now i have been to
many places....
L.A. Paris, London,
Dunedin, Melbourne
Hong Kong, Mooloolaba
to name but a few...

but these little bits of
seadust,
have lived lives
and lost,
have travelled
to and fro....
becoming ever...
smaller as they went....

shedding of themselves
to the greater entity.
becoming
one speck among......
                              bazillions

taken beyond their lives
of solidity by swirling
currents

only to end up as sand
upon my toes.
big thoughts for a friday night...
A single jasmine
can be my garland
A single grape
can be my vineyard.

You
are all I need.
You
add fragrance,
You
add sweetness
to my being.

You
are my one
in the many
Also
my many in
the one...
I am a grass.
Even if someone stepped on me,
Tried to crush my hopes,
Or wished to burn me in misery;
I just grow back
Even stronger
And greener.
There are people who will try to drag us down. There will be tough times in our life. But we must not let anything or anyone stop us from reaching our dreams. We must fight back. Get up immediately when we fall down. And show to the world how strong we had been :)
And if you cut me
wide open with your
sharpest blades you'll
find the best of words
falling out of my veins* ~

Many masks
Many names,
Misinterpreted
Misunderstood
By choice...

Mask over mask
Bereft of skin
Dare not reveal
What is underneath...

Masquerade
the only way
I dare
I live...

Rawness, nakedness
Unplastered walls.
Debris, wreckage,
where's my mask

Who are you,
who makes me wonder,
who makes me ponder.
Something I never asked before...
