Crossyde Gimp
Take no hostages,
plunder not a thing
Leave no wreckages
But take me, the king
Hold me to ransom
by the spellbound ring
Am only handsome
When you, my joy, bring

Your pain is so great... nothing left for me to do,
it's what I always knew,
with old age comes sorrow and death,
I'd give you my breath,
that would only be temporary.

Your agony sends night terrors to me,
nowhere to flee!
The terror sets in on you and I.
I can only cry,
but I know I need to say goodbye.

You will always be in my heart,
you will not die at the hospital but we will part,
met you too late in life,
our time was cut with a knife.
Those who abandoned you forgot you but I never will.
We rescued a Pomeranian a few years ago who was abandoned and has been amazing.  Recently her legs are failing her, she has her good days and her bad days.  We do everything we can for her but an operation is not guaranteed to leave her well.  For her, this poem is dedicated to Anabelle.

They move like dancers
Fuelled by bloodlust.
Heavy hands weighted
With the hopes of a nation.
An ampitheatre of
Fluorescent lights.
The chariots of the colosseum
Move through the shadows
And the savage beasts
Walk on two feet.

that has fallen from the nest.

Because,

He fell for the red on her cigarette,
Her breath on floating dandelions,

The eyelash on her cheek,
The stretchmarks on her thighs,

The little hairs on her belly,
The way her eyebrows don't perfectly match,

The way she loved dogs more than children,
The way she stares at tree leaves swaying.

He fell for her as a whole
Not the way others had before,

And she, did not care.
She constantly fell in the sea

Of arms, that has haunted
Since her eyes began to see lust.

Drowning endlessly,
Knowing he would send her a lifeboat.

So much beauty in the world
It's almost too much to handle sometimes

A lover's last embrace before parting ways
A warm sunset as the night comes
A campfire being familiar yet completely unique
Hearing the wind blow through the trees

It's always there and all around
Sometimes it's hidden
Waiting to be discovered

So much beauty in the world
Not lost
Wanting to be found

Beauty can trump anything
Fear and depression submit to defeat
A matter of perspective
For eyes that choose to see
So much beauty in the world
Open your mind and heart
A huge step in being truly free

Out of the Darkness
Into the light
Overthrow the shadows
End of the blackest night

Once again hope
A genesis
Death of strife

The threshold of possibility
Finally recognized
Absence of the negative
Full potential of ability

Out of the darkness
Into the light
The dawn has won
A battle against blight

The sun will come again
