You miss a meal,
Then it turns to two,
A day passes,
And no one notices you.

Craving nutrition,
There goes a week,
Those many hours,
Longing for something to eat.

Using the same excuse,
"I'm not hungry, I just ate,"
The numbers keep dropping,
Was sixty-three, now fifty-eight.

You can't go back,
People are noticing you,
They say you should eat, and you say,
"You have something better to do."

It's harder than you think,
Just leave me alone!
Stop telling me to eat and drink!
If I need you, I can find my phone.
This poem is about an eating disorder, it’s dangerous and those that have it can be greatly effected. Not only them, but those around them as well.

I will reach
Beyond
The stars

Brining back a
Handful
Of clouds
Sometimes what we want is closer than we ever thought.

i’m fine,
are words i say to myself
over and over
again.

i’m just tired,
i stress to my friends,
repeating automatically—
on loop.

i’m okay,
i’m alright,
yeah i’m getting sleep—
just a bit tired is all—*

tell me,
when did i become an
automaton, programmed
to lie every time i speak?
getting real tired of my own bs

When we met
it felt seconds
Comparable to a movie in fast-forward

When we part
it felt forever
Having no ends to meet

Both of us knew it
that there was something
A spark
when we are together
A deep connection
Even if we are living in distance

We may be denying it
when people see us

But clearly we know
that we are not just friends
secretly

Conveying feelings in disguise
Running around the bush

Mutually desiring to see one another's face again
Soon
but only doubt keeps us apart

Only doubt...
I can't sleep
          I'm [alone]
I can't do this
          No one is [here]
I am a mistake
          I don't [matter]
I'm unnecessary
         No one really [needs me]
They don't care
They're just going to [abandon me] anyways
Why trick myself?
          [I don't matter]
I don't know what's with the brackets... meh.
