Its time for decorations and merry cheer.
Its time to get ready,
For Santa's visit.
So hang out your stockings,

Now Christmas is here,
And we don't have to wait anymore.

The love of my life once said to me.
"When will you meet me by the sea?"
Her hair golden and Her eyes blue of ice
As if she hasn't got a twinkle in her eye,
Forget me once, maybe I'll thank you twice.
And we will dance together, under the great blue sky.

People take me for granted,
All I ever did was to be nice.
But like they say sometimes no matter,
How hard I try,
The ball still goes in.

She's a good girl,
She never truants.
She keeps to herself,
And minds her own business.

She never swears,
She never gets mad.
She always combs her hair,
She never argues with her dad.

But she sneaks out night,
To be with her friends.
She parties all night,
But she leaves before it ends.

She's a good girl,
Anyone can see that.
She's her dad's love,,
But who could stop her from a little bit of fun?

A shining beacon full of light,
Its light guides the ships away,
Defends ships from the rocks at night.
So the ships may sail another day.

The Peacock and the ****,
Went a' walking.
Says the Peacock,
"What shall we do on this fine day?"
The **** said,
"Why not find some bread?"
So off they went.

The Peacock and the ****,
Went a' wandering.
Says the Peacock,
"Alas my friend,
I do not see any bread"
The **** replies,
"What a shame,
Let us retreat to the barn again,"
So off they went.

The Peacock and the ****,
Went a' ambling.
Says the Peacock,
"Alas the sun has come up,
We have wasted our day"
Replies the ****,
"For you yes,
But boy did i get some exercise"
So off they slept.

Rise from your ashes,
May you be reborn.
Be the burning bird,
Who rules ancient lore.

The truth is not always true,
It happens so many times.
When the truth lies to you too,
Its lying to me now, as I write these lines.

The wind is a living creature,
Just like you or me,
It has and obeys no leader,
And the wind will always be free.

The wind is a spirit that can't be broken,
Its an eternal soul.
It will travel the world for centuries to come,
And  carry Santa and his reindeer, back to the north pole.

The wind has a mind of its own,
It likes to play tricks and pranks.
The wind fears no foe,
As it travels the world alone.

The wind is a living creature,
Just like you or me,
It has and obeys no leader,
And the wind will always be free.

I'm going on a break,
Somewhere far away.
Where the day never ends,
And the sun never sleeps.
Until then you'll have to let me go,
This is not the end, but a new hello.

This place called paradise,
Is where I want to be.
The limit is the sky,
For you and me.

Nothing can touch us,
The world is at our feet.
Can't you finally see?
It was meant to be?

Glorious hills,
Hall of fame.
Cheap thrills,
God of the Game.

How did I get here?

Shipwrecked boat,
Undiscovered land.
Sore throat,
Parched and bland.

It came from above,
Woken by the sun.
By the sight of a dove,
My training begun.

I fought beasts,
I ran till I could run no more,
I challenged chiefs,
I won the war.

My ordeal had not ended,
It had literally just begun.
My road was not apprehended,
By myself or anyone.

I surfed waves,
I braved the whirlpool.
I plunged into the ocean caves,
To recover the infamous jewel.

I climbed the mountain,
Silent and still.
At the peak lay a fountain,
Ready to spill.

The water enlightened me,
I was ready to fight.
Nothing could stop me,
As I flew into the night.

At long last I was home,
Captain's armband.
In this very stadium dome,
I will create history by my very own hand.

You're my thunder,
I'm your lightning.
Together,
We fear nothing.

It's a long road,
And I'm on my own.
I'm scared of the things,
That I don't know.

As the night comes,
I look up to the sky.
I send a prayer,
Hoping my dreams won't die.

I wish my monsters will leave,
And the demons will go away.
I'm just begging,
For the darkness to fade.

I've been to Syria and much horrors I've seen,
I've been to Afghanistan and terrorists I've seen.
I've been to places where I should never have been,
I've seen hell.
I've been to Ethiopia where people beg for food,
I've been to China where people are *****.
I've been to Brazil and seen child labor.
And no one was going to help.
Ive been to France where the homeless sleep on streets,
I've been to Venezuela where people are murdered everyday.
I've been to Trinidad and Tobago where people hunt and steal.
*I've done my best to help,
But I can't do it alone.
Remember the horrors others have faced,
And lets make the world a better place.

My sails flap and flutter,
As my ship protests against the wind.
The ocean roars back its response,
While the continents sail out of sight.

Rain pelts against my back,
Thunder strikes my ship.
My ship attempts to fall back,
New sails I equip.

My ship must go on,
Till I reach the faraway lands.
The sun peaks over the horizon,
As the world calms and brightens.

Don't waste your moments,
Don't waste your life,
Don't waste your love,
Don't waste your loyalty,
Don't waste your money,
Don't waste your dreams.

Twilight hours,
Mixture of purple, blue and black.
On dark clouds it towers,
And rains heavily on my back.

United we stand,
Disbanded we fall.
Together we are stronger,
Divided we are weaker.
We're strongest,
When we're together

Growing together,
United by blood.
Awaiting the weather,
To bless us with a flood.

The vans on the interstate
they go real slow, they go real slow

20 MPH below, 20 MPG below
the limit

I'm too fast for this road,
There's nowhere I can't go.
I'm free I carry no load,
Speed limit? No.

The vannies are nannies
don't ya know, don't ya know
vannies are nannies
really slow, really slow

Time goes quickly,
Soon it'll go below.
But life's too quick,
For me to go slow.

I'm not sure they
comprehend, comprehend
really not sure they understand
either GMC, or Chevrolet
whether GMC, or Chevrolet
being the clot
in the road

Embrace the speed while you can,
Before you blink.
It'll disappear,
Before you can think.

Breathe me in like a vapor,
Let me embrace you in my warmth.
Carry me in your pocket for later,
I'll be there to warm you in storms.

On the outside,
I've never fitted in.
It's like I'm alright,
But there's a violin,
Playing in the background.
Why doesn't my voice,
Make a sound?
Why is everyone,
Never around?

Things change and,
Relationships break and fall apart.
But that doesn't mean,
That I still don't want your heart.

The sun shines on happy days,
The rainbow appears on lucky days.
The rain weeps on sad days,
The wind blows on stormy days.
No matter the weather,
Being so clever.
It always surprises me.

Seashell shores,
Ocean blue waves.
Dancing fires,
Lustful airwaves.

We go through the woods,
We go through the river.
We go down the deepest lake,
Till we're lost and gone away.

We know we cant stay up,
The only way we can go is down.
Once your fears have gone away,
And you're sitting by the sundown.

I don't care what people say,
Just survive another day.
And then once you do,

What is poetry?
Some people may ask.
Is it just basic literacy?
Or is it an art?

And I say:

Poems are places where we express our feelings,
And turn our emotions into words.
As we make those words appealing,
We create a different world.

if it all goes south,
like the weather.
when it just hurts now,
like whatever.
if it doesn't work out,
for the better.
if it all goes wrong,
let's go to heaven.

because it just ain't right,
without you.

I just want to fade,
And roll back time.
Back to the days,
When you were mine.

She told me she loved me,
Loved her like a princess from Disney.
Still wondering why she tricked me,
Why the **** did she leave me?

Why you gotta be so beautiful?
There's a sparkle in your eye.
Like a diamond in the sky,
You make me feel so alive.

God did not give us wings,
So we could build our own.
He did not give us many things,
As he wanted us to discover alone.

My wings I have built,
Are a blessing.
From the guy up there's,
eternal loving.

So I wear my wings with pride,
I soar over the skies.
I skim over the tide,
And embrace the ocean's cry.

The Sun comes up,
I feel his radiance.
The clouds float by,
As I dance.

When the rain comes,
And the oceans turns.
The flood decides to run,
And the hurricane burns.

The snowstorms hit,
The cold bites harsh.
The terrain submits,
To the frost that always leave last.

Surviving hot coals,
Perish under the onslaught.
From when the snow falls,
No life is untouched by the assault.

Upon this white hot snow,
The terrain buried under a blanket.
Across these fields we go,
of this unrecognizable planet.

Alas my hands are freezing,
The cold has infected the air.
No warmth is displeasing,
Oh look winter's here.

It's a path we walk,
Whenever we feel alone.
When we don't want to talk,
But just want to go home.

When it rains,
It rains on me.
The wind pains,
It hurts to be me.

I hate the cold,
Yet it loves me.
It always loves to hold,
Tight, surrounding me.

I wish I was better,
That I didn't have to be me.
My life's so bitter,
I wish that I was free.

Wonder if I'll be ok,
If it is what it is.
Tomorrow, you'll be a stranger.
Hoping for love to happen,
Over and over again.

Things.
You were real to me
Once.
Until the next lifetime, I'll try to be fine –

without you.

Life is always rewarding,
The rewards just take time.
You can accomplish anything,
If you have a go and try.

So no matter the times I slip,
No matter the times I fall.
Life is always worth the trip,
Climbing over the wall.

You can throw me to the wolves,
You can throw me off the track.
But in time I will return,
And I'll be leading the pack.

Life is about walking,
Not always in a straight line.
But always pushing,
The limits of your time.

Most people run,
From the wolves.
Most people hide,
From the toughs.

However life give us an option,
To take or challenge this alone.
Thanks to other's collaboration,
May we triumph over this cyclone.

No matter the winded paths,
No matter the unforgiving hearts.
May the path give birth,
To those long forgotten laughs.
