A farmhouse in Iowa
Eight people killed with an ax
The killer never caught
These are just the facts

It happened a hundred years ago
On that fateful night
All killed in there beds
didn't put up a fight

They say the place is haunted
Go there if you dare
My wife and I are ghost hunters
Not easy to scare

We decided to spend the night
No one there but us
What would happen next
I'm reluctant to discuss

Voices of children talking
Are some of the things you'll hear
Objects levitating off the floor
Can give you quite a fear

I'm seeing things
I couldn't believe
Are my eyes
Trying to deceive?

Unseen entity
Tugging on my shirt
Starting to get worried
Don't want to get hurt

Everything I told you
Is honest and true
We spent the night alone there
I wonder would you?

Lately the wind sweeps and I hear your name
Our anthems shouting from their core
Lately the rain drops and I feel your footsteps
On our bed that we shared and cuddled
Lately the sun rays illuminate and I see your love
On my heart the rhythmic trumpets of our future
Lately my love I am so crazy to hold you
On my body, soul and mind to claim us on... On and on

If I bear my heart out
Hang it by the sidewalk
then beg for you to see its clear sheen
at it's reflection look and kiss the love I hold for you

If only you can widen your eyes
Let your retina visualise
then in no time melt the slice of the icy crust
at the floor of the pond I promise we'll be fine

If you can rotate and feel me
A warmth that traverses space
then we can time-travel and overcome the world's barricades
as we fall on our knees to dine at each other's  feet

If we offer ourselves on this table
You are indeed my festive feast
then we munch and hunch on one then another
as nature intended for us in the beauty of the woods and the grass............
