It's not the rain
that makes my eyes wet.
It hasn't rained in forty days.
Nights are long and quiet.
The silence cuts to bone.

It wasn't rain that quenched the fire.
It hasn't rained in forty nights.
The well is dry... so am I.
Nights I sit in silence
while it rains.

Listen
Listen now
He doesn't sleep here
Anymore.

Smile
Smile somehow
He walks upon that shore.

Look
Look inside
Look inside yourself.

Dream
He's dreaming
You'll find him in your dreams...
Somehow.

For Maria.
Um this is one of my personal poems that i made myself.... hope you guys like it.....

ME
She sits in a dark room all alone
A room darker than the heart of her own
Blood begins to run down her fragile wrists.
She's ending it all, because one kiss

The blood flows down her arm like a warm river
She looks at her body, wishing she was thinner
She yells "I can't ******* take it anymore!"
Her mom cries, "honey please open the door."

It is too late, she is torn from life.
Poor girl, didn't even become a wife
All of this pain and suffering that you see.
Well boys and girls, this is all because of me.
I wrote this poem, about someone special in my life! Hope you all like it? <3
Friendship is a beautiful thing
soles of feet
are but pads
to tamp the earth
hands but
tools to till
from birth to death
to whatever comes next
bodies but
vehicles
for brains,
once they disappear
we become
unchained
Daniel Magner 2014
Upon her faithful frame togs
Of beauty hangs;
Rosy robe, smelling myrrh.

All the go love is unambiguous--
Nought hid; clear
Like glass, soft like foulard.

Helen
We make each other bleed
Searching for tenderness
Once it was need
Twice it was loneliness

On the edge of a knife
I ask for forgiveness
So much is Life
So many things are death

I see the horizon hazing
into the Sun a gazing
Your love, amazing
Six guns a blazing

I stand before you, true
Reality is a fantasy
Never would I want it for you
Intimacy is just a fallacy

Take shelter from the harm
I see you where you stand
Ignore the calloused palm
Please, take my hand

This song will never end
It's not like I would deny
If we part as just friends
I'm the one who will die
Now, read it backwards :)
old winds blow through the fields of wheat

    my name
    above all things
    it whispers softly
calling me to free my spirit

& run forever through the open landscape until I find my horizon.
