The day I found you
The world slowed down,
And sped up all at once
The smile on my face spread wider
And my heart beat bigger thumps.

The day I called you mine
was best day of my life
that I will ever live
to hold you in my arms
and give you kiss, after kiss, after kiss.

The day I lost you
The world. Slowed down.
Stopped. All at once.
The tears. Won't stop coming.
My heart. It doesn't thump.

And now I have no purpose.
No one to hold in my arms.
No one I can kiss.
Nothing. Nobody. No one.

Light a candle in his name
Then watch it fade away.
It's life is short just like his
Lasting hardly even a day.

Light a candle in his honor
Memories don't go away.
Hold on tight to what you have
The pictures last decades.

Light a candle remember him well
and what he meant to you.
Although sadly now he is gone
Reminisce is all you can do.

There’s this girl
She’s never loved
And is only 21.

There’s this girl
Who’s never been loved
And never found the one

There’s other girls
Who are in love
And say “he is the one”

But alas,
There’s this girl
who is always alone

There’s this girl
Who’s never been kissed
Never been on a date

There’s this girl
Who always wonders
Will this be my fate?

Theres this girl
Who looks in the mirror
and sees an ugly face

There’s this girl
Who’s dreams are big
But he is running late

Theres this girl
Who just keep saying
“good things come to those who wait”

Do you know what my favourite time of day is?
The first few seconds
Just after you have woken up.

So much happens in those first few seconds.
It’s the only time of day where you have no worries or cares.

Those few seconds are the definition of content.
You are untouchable,
Indestructible,
Happy.

In those few seconds your lost ones are found
The ones you love aren't far away.
The boy is yours and not hers
You’re not alone.

After those first few seconds
Sometimes things are okay.
Life is okay.

But sometimes you would give the world so those seconds last a life time.
But time, with its sidekick reality are never far behind.
Destroying everything in their path.
Dragging you with them
No way to escape.

In those few seconds.
The world is at peace.
Life is perfect.
Everything’s perfect.

In those few seconds
You are here
And I have you in my arms once more.

Don't grieve too long, look around
in the falling leaves he can be found.
In our hearts and in the trees
in every little gentle breeze.
I feel him then and he is flying free.
