The reminiscing of memories past
Encore of our hearts together
A oceanic abyss between us would only make our love stronger
It's so hard to be so far
But knowing you're gazing into the outer reaches of water
Just like I am
Gives me
Hope.

And when it's dark out
And we're standing at the waters edge waiting
We see the same luminescence
We can't fathom our
Aloneness in this moment
It's terrible being
Without.

Hearts torn downwards
It's awful
But the gravity that rips them towards despair
Will be the same that keeps us together
When we
Roll down hills
Jump in lakes
Defy by climbing trees and swinging on tires
Our love it's
Awe~Full.

And in that moment
Eons and oceans apart
We are together
We are
Home.

Obvious

It's obvious, isn't it?
When two similar planets pass by
each other
and get caught in
each other's
gravity.
It's obvious what must happen here.
The words not said
scream loud enough to
bridge the hundreds of miles,
and we still don't
say them.
Not yet.
It's obvious we haven't been here before.
Into uncharted waters,
we move so
very
slowly,
careful not to create waves
before we meet in the center,
careful not to misstep,
so that we can
do things right
for once.
It's obvious.
I'm so unbelievably grateful that my words were selected to represent this amazing community for a day. This is the best community I've ever had the honor to be a part of. Seriously, each and every one of you are amazing. Many of you have made a permanent mark on me with your kind words and friendship, and I'm continually amazed at the positivity and encouragement I see on this site. Stay great, friends. And thank you so much for reading! It means the world.
On a roughly hewn cross, not necessarily like the one we often see today, a man was put to death for what he believed. He stood against the power structure of the day and spoke a simple truth. He said that there was a better way and a better place not of this world. In such agony, the leaders of the day took great offense and had to silence this man. A crowd gathered to chose a murderer over a man who only spoke of peace and helping your fellow man. So who did we crucify that day anyway?

from end to end
toe to toe
ear to ear
you pull me apart.
you're not even near
or close enough to touch
but the thought of you
pulls me apart.
from tooth to toenail
fingertips to kneecaps
heels to earlobes
from end to end
you've pulled me apart
leaving me to hunt,
search every corner,
lift all mossy stones,
for the pieces of me
you threw away in haste.
