The rain has stopped
The air is still
A softness permeates the dark
Calm spreads upon the dampness
We touch and melt
Into the perfect night
Your sweetness mirrors
The reflection in the pools of your eyes
Nature does no wrong
Restores the spirit
Keeps the ebb and flow
Harmony becomes you
Becomes us.
We awaken to the dawn
The light creates you anew
Memories of the night
Are written on your brow
Keep me guessing.

Tree Sparrows flock
sing in numbers;
That slinking cat
size of a lion;
needs looking out for

It's raining outside;
I want to wash away the ash,
but I don't want to put out the fire.
On a long awaited rainy day...

Before now loneliness was unheard
It meant nothing to me
Loneliness was just a word
Now I've been forced to let loneliness in
Finally I know that in the end
Loneliness will be my best friend!

Fire and Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
