One night
as I pondered the stars
and let my heart reach
up and out
A wish made
into the night
unto the Universe
for Life
and inner peace
to truly come
For the zest of living
and all its workings
to take place
I received a special signal
an inter-galactic message
and answer, if you will
without expecting
without
even being
fully aware,
my head turned
to the constellations,
to the planets above
and my heart became
one with the stars
spiraling into
previously unknown
orbits
and taking my soul with
for a ride
A trip that is still
spinning me
on my axis..
as I try to hold on,
I am tripping on the light
as it pours into
this sacred vessel
A molecular re-working
that is building up
lost tissue, found
Bloodflow restored
and roaring like a river
And I am
opening up
like
a rare species
of flower
a breed of vegetation

unrecorded
by humans

I never expected
this to happen
Perhaps my spirit guides
do watch over me
Angels who know
darkness
while shining light
who know
pain
yet beat out
healing
from their
wings

She sits
looks up
at the stars,
eyes a-light
with turquoise fire
Her dreams weave
a tapestry of colors
and dancing stars
She might not know it,
but her heart is pure
like the arc of a moonbeam
Her hands cup sunlight
which she sips like water
and it glows out from her
Both warrioress
and artist,
feet on ground
yet dreams celestial
her inner wisdom shines
with what in these fourteen years
she has learned
and will always know
So there she sits
humming a sweet song
There she sits
and glows
For my daughter

Her hooves were subtle on the touch of earth
Beneath her, she was elegant in her stance.
Her main was beautiful blacker than nights kiss.
But she was warrior her feet bore this saying.

"Gentle do our  feet heed the earth,
"But our hearts beat heavy on our enemies,

She walked on the plains of fallen hope,
A place where the worst days of their tribe heeded.
But they had learnt hard lessons, her hair
Hid modesty of her beauty. She scuffed the
Earth, grass weaved in the air released.

Men their hooves heavy, burly thoughts unkempt
Not kept as woman folk. But they did as
Told, not as lower cast but united as one.
Just calmed of there yearning ride free,
stampeding on plains of thunder, fear was our enemy.

On the plains of fallen hope our arrogance rode
Like a rumbling. But dissipated into the distance
And Hooves fell silent. We were humbled on
That day of the fallen, mains bleached in blood.
Our pride was tainted and subdued heads low.

Both lost many legacies and from the whistling
Thorns we learnt the hard way to get along.
She stands their proud of her past, sullen in
The mistakes that bring her with spear in hand.

"I give blood unto the ground to remember,
"I'm am your legacy steed of the pride,
"We ride free, we are of faces seen,
"Ride in peace on the plains of eternity,

She takes one last look before throwing the spear,
It flies into unkempt whistling thorns, they play
The songs of the fallen. A reminder that none
Shall win when pride is above thought,
Her main flows elegantly as she rides quietly off.

There tears coalesced and sorrow bent
Them unto the bed of leaves now fallen.
Like mourning moments frozen until the
Sun rose and the earth was watered on,
Slowly it stood tall again.

As time evaporated into dusk and
Mourning hew hung onto each emotion.
Again captured bending in captured
Breath, and once again it bent with the
Emotion frozen once again.
