The woman in the moon is made of waves

If you look close, she swells and falls always

Like the sea; like a dancer's last dance.

Cold but never sad nor bitter nor raw

She showers honey light on us all -

On the eyelids of the sick and the foreheads of sleeping children

In cups of milk with cookie crumbs and late night drives

On the hot breath of love and the dreams of travel

But most of all, inside each inestimable soul,

That is where her dancing, swelling, honey from the sea light goes.

Staring at the crowded hallway
Just like what I usually do everyday
Everyones going on their own way
Some are shouting, but I cant hear what they say.

Staring at the crowded hallway
Seeing some students just wanted to play
If you tell them to go to class
They'll make faces as if they don't want to stay

Staring at the crowded hallway
watching everyone walk
while some are just there to talk
Staring and hearing their footsteps
Tapping on the floor
While teachers-- students are chilling near the door.
Talking about everything like they know for sure.

Staring, observing, knowing
Every little detail
hearing every sound.
Tappings on the floor, creaking of the door, and still trying to look for more

Everyones with their friends
talking like theres no end
and Im here playing pretend
Going to cafeteria before the bell rings
While im alone staring at the crowded busy hallway
minutes passed its not crowded anymore, but one things for sure
Im still here left alone.

Pax

In my darkest days, I held you beneath my warmth.
You indulged me with your feverish hunger.
You embraced me with your piercing emotions.
You were immune to my changeable disease.

I came to a realization that you were my muse,
the best rainbow I received……….

You told me that I was part of your soul.
To me you’re the fuel to my rusty engine,
The energy to my thirsty being,
And the light of my darkened soul.

Dispassionate heart
Summoning the chill
A skeleton of your former self
Domiciled within
These impediments

Panic prone
Arguing with fate

Weary of your blue
For how long will you
Linger in the shadows
incomplete.... just a rough draft really. Just felt the sudden urge to "put something out there"

Update: A poem is never really complete there's always that "not quite" however, I have decided (thanks to fellow poets who commented) this one is complete as it is.
There are stories in your eyes.

I never told you how
sometimes I fell asleep
with the thought that you
were perhaps the moon-

always disappearing
with the dawn.
I would awake with
nothing
but the shape of you
on my bed and the
gloom of you on
my skin.
