This is not a poem this is a thank you.
Thank you all for reading my poems and making me feel welcome.
Chocolate, nothing taste better than rich creamy chocolate.  Such a delight, brown chocolate skin woman how sweet you must be.  Such a savory treat, brown chocolate skin woman.

Lying here without you
pretending the wind is your fingers
running through my hair
as I share emotions with the sky
Long ago ...
before computers,
the advent of texting -
It was so much more easier
to meet a friend

Eyes would lock
a smile emerged, to touch the lips and heart

Lips gently curl
feel good senses
spread along the lines of veins

Talks ensued
connections locked
Friendships mapped
that lasts the end of days
Her love is destructive like blue suns
turning my black sand beach into glass
Boiling away my oceans setting my fields
ablaze in blue flames bringing an end to my world.

With skin the color of coffee what I wouldn't give to have a cup of her
Putting my lips to hers taking long slow sips warming my insides
Her fragrance is like freshly brewed aromatherapy healing my soul.

Love poem.
GOD
They say you're just a figment of man's imagination
A way to explain the unknown
They say science is the one true god
That there's an explanation for everything
That they can solve any problem with a mathematical equation
Is it true what they say?  That you're just
a figment of man's imagination and that
science is the one true god
No of course not.
