I always seem to miss you,
When I am a little sad
I don't always tell you this,
For fear it'll sound bad

But I miss you in sadness,
Not for cheering up,
I miss you in sadness,
For we drink from the same cup

These lines don't make much sense,
As most of life does not,
I'm just missing you right now,
Knowing you'd understand my thought
I shut the world out
*Before you became my world.
Okay again. Sorry. (+1)

If I had a car and $100, you would never see me again
One day late, whoops!
The Morning Sun
In Orange Hues
A Spilt Volcano
The Molten Lava
Paints The Blue Sky.

The Afternoon Sun
The Lava down with The Magma
Blazing Hot
Fumes Over The Mellowed Sky.

The Evening Sun
Stepping down
In Vermilion hues
Ready for New horizons
The Vivid Sky welcomes The Moon.
'   Figures of Speech '
Long  lost touch with these.
Irony lies in the fact ,
it took me a
little while to figure out the difference between
'A Similie' and 'A Metaphor ' :))

Yet another try at the daily prompts

' Metaphors'

Give them some time.
Website design is not that easy.
I'm confident they will get this sorted. Don't jump ship yet, poets. HP has been a home to me and others for years, and they haven't truly disappointed yet.

I played counting games as a child
Two people wearing blue, one old man wearing red, a little girl in white
My seconds were always faster than the seconds on the clock but the minutes matched up
I was so afraid of running out of batteries
You can only see time if you watch it
I will never forget that old man

The
Internet
Is the wild west
Of the modern era, with
Vast, open space, laws with few sheriffs
Fights between groups rights and religious beliefs
Unknown connections waiting, and some rustler's crime rings
And a presence of *** overlooked when this is taught to kids
