One day I will say it
Not because I will only feel it at that very moment
But because it's something I have so passionately been feeling since I met you that I can not go another day without blurting out.
I don't need to tell you, you know by the way I look at you, lie next to you, laugh with you, trust and confide in you.
One day I will say it
Not because I feel it at that very moment
But because I have always loved you.

I love you

As the people pass by
I look
And listen
And watch
And realize there are countless stories
Of laughter and tears
Of regret and happiness
Of victory and failure
Of dreams and impossibilities
Of beauty and horribleness
Of wholeness and brokenness
Of everything and nothing
That I will never learn of
For I am merely a tiny part
In the grand scheme of things
Feeling pretty down tonight. Do you ever just feel too much?

Not knowing made me anxious
made me prudent
carefully made me stop
brake for taking a break
for my own mind's sake
I crop
for health with stealth
It forbade me to
froze me, paralyzed, a ghost
It made me lose it, almost
though I never really won,
still I never lost
not knowing

Forgotten

We are all going to die.
We are all going to be forgotten.
It doesn't matter if your grave is six feet deep and three feet wide,
Or if your body was slung over the side,
of a boat in motion
from hands devoid of emotion
We all end up just the same.
Decayed and rotten.
Forgotten.
If that isn't Equality,
I don't know what is.
When I asked you to fix me,
You told me I wasn't broken.
But, let this soak in.
I just wanted to know,
If i was still a pretty enough picture to be worth, agonizing over a puzzle.
Even when it's a struggle.
And you have to nuzzle each piece into place,
Kissing the pieces bent out of shape,
Searching for pieces gone missing,
But you can't make a raisin back into a grape.
Yes, I Remember your middle name
And who says we can't celebrate failure?
Don't be sad, we tried, we tried.
When you write your story in the sand it washes away with the tide.
It isn't our fault.
We may have cut ourselves open, But we didn't ask for the salt in our
wounds
Can I still say "we"?
I guess you're kind of done with me.
I don't blame you, Puzzles are frustrating.
they're a tease.
Please, tell me I haven't lost the most important piece.
Tell me I haven't lost
you.
