To Know
Kathryn Jan 2018
She knew it.
Knows it,
Now it -
is?

Shredded, broken, twisted?
All at once.
She's sure of it,
She knew it,
She knows it.

An ideal, a futile wish,
Now?
A nightmare,

-

Heartbreak.

She doesn't want to
but,
She knows it.
From the hardest time of my life. Enjoy?

A Handmaid's Tale?
Kathryn Jan 2018
I want it.
Must,
We must.

For it all to succeed and flourish,
kindness, growth, progress,
the key?
That's where we come in.

The goddesses-
the mothers, the heroines, the geniuses, the politicians, the doctors, the sisters, the actors, the saviours-

The Females.

The stars of the show!
The ones to carry a being,
only for them to turn out to be ungrateful, disrespectful, abusers.
of what?
Trust,
Mostly.
In response to the absolute legend Margaret Atwood, and her genius 'The Handmaid's Tale'.

'L'
Kathryn Jan 2018
'L'
Up on a hill it started,
Rain and warmth,
The outcome was inevitable and ignored
Bliss-

Second phase; confusion and bliss,
Endless driving,
Thrown in the deep end
Bliss-

There's progression now,
The 'L' word,
Loser?
Not this time
Bliss

Troubled waters,
Mix-ups and tears,
Forgotten?
Forgiven.
Bliss-

True happiness-
Even in seperation,
Sea's between,
Thoughtfulness and best wishes,

Bliss.
