K Balachandran
Blithe golden cloud, that once tugged at my heart strings
enigmatic pubescent, warm master work of raising steam,
you did drift too low, to be real for my sun scorched world
but deliberately pretended cold, when I waved, repeatedly,
I ardently wooed, to the alarm of your admirers, a legion
how I longed for the secrets, you whispered, know you more
aren't you fire within, that burns heart, lightening concealed?
Formed in sensual, undulating softness, hiding, fiery desires?

I waited, for you to touch ground, as you promised,to explore
being naive, you inadvertently tangled with the tree branches!
Obstructive self seekers, who craftily trapped you in thickets
and little by little, in grey strands you vanished in thin air...
A lesson to all straying cloudlets,I had to be sadly a witness.

The Dedpoet
In the end
I was, but I will cease to be,
A thought on the project called life.
And the thirst for answers
We don't know to ask,
Abandoned by time.

I am not what I was when I was born,
I have become someone else
In the elastic anxiety,
Which was really nothing to worry about.

What is beautiful
That is infinite,
Fleetingly we were all magnificent
In the oblivion,
        Death is a contrast,
Unlike life where nothing is guaranteed,
A revelation to our defined being.

    In the end
We we figure out the answer
To the questions that should
Not be asked,
Posthumous wisdom.
My love I beg of thee , will you come out this very night ..
Face me in the firelight , never take me out of your sight ...
Let's raise a toast to our long awaited connection  ,
by informing the world of our deep affection ....
For one night I would risk my everything , for
it's in your eyes that my heart begins to sing .....
People will ridicule our devotion , people will forswear
our commitment to each other , deny our heartfelt supplications
before all others , ridicule our togetherness as a ploy for ulterior motives ..
I want to hide in your arms tonight , your eyes cast upon mine ,
your breath in my ear forever and one year ...
We wait for complex answers to simple equations , we struggle in search of honesty when it's standing all around us ...
We draw the warmth from one another whenever we meet , can we not show our heightened emotions for one another as we casually stroll our hometown streets ?
