I pour my heart on these pages, soak the pain in ink and let the strokes be seen. Each line that I sketch, is another line that was stitched on my heart. Every tear drop that falls, makes the paint come alive. Each color that joins, they mourn my love. The graphite that spreads, it cloaks these words. Each page holds, another secret to be told. Another love story to behold.

I love you, you were my match

Last I saw you, I hurt you badly
Out of jealousy did I snap
Very much do I regret it now
Every time I think of you

You make my heart ache with longing
One mistake was all it took to lose you
Until we meet again so I can say
                       I LOVE YOU

You brought me down
Broke my strength
Drained me of life

I built myself up,
Fought the lies
Tried to stand

You threw the knives
Made it rain fire
Stole my smile

I flight the mirrors
Became a sea of power
Learned to love

You lashed out with poison
Made the bruises bigger
Became the dark of my nightmares

I became strong
Learned to fight and live
I walked away,
And never looked back

This is for the people who have had their dreams crushed
Bagged up and thrown away like they didn't mean much
For the boys and girls who sit in school and daydream of space and make believe
You are the real hero's
I often wondered what I dreamed of when I laid in bed
But not very often I remembered what went on in my head
And people said I wouldn't amount to much
Only just 10 months of my life given out of love
And you say I'm wasting my time
Even though this brings me closer to the finish line
All the negativity that they said to me
They look at me and I bet now they see
So please don't worry there is much out there
Just look at what I found here
And when people look down on you
They're only scared to think of what you'll amount to
This is for the people who still believe in love
Even though they've had their hearts crushed
For the ones who still hold faith in the world
You're the ones I look up to

Drama is always on our tails;
Thank God I never learned to look behind me.
Neither too good to be pulled to heaven,
Nor too bad to be pushed into hell.
My soul tossed between the twin poles,
For I am neither a saint nor a sinner,
To be berthed in a glowing globe,
Or thrown in a blowing globule.

Heart and soul coupled and framed abode,
For a bond of a home maker and a joy seeker,
Heart is smart in loving and living in anchor,
And soul that leaves and lingers in hunger
One that enjoys known heaven at home,
And the other entangled in unknown haven.

Nay, my soul and me are one and heed to none,
Propelled we ported on a day in heaven on mission,
Grasped by a welcome drink in local ambrosia,
It looked as if we clinched at ultimate panacea,
On a jolly ride hosted in the merry Maryland.

And then pal of gloom unveiled;
No birth and no mirth to make,
No death and no change or challenge,
No hunger and no taste of food,
No thirst and no feel of quench,
No ambition and no mission to fulfill,
No identity and no entities to entice,
No kith and kin and no fun and frolic,
No home of my own and none to be homely,
No work and no wisdom to worship oh Lord!
And what an unearthly heaven is it?
An earthly year is lost for a day in heaven.

And then I prayed, praised, pleaded and pleased,
The powers-that-be to fuse my heart and soul,
And help unearth the heaven on earth.
