Life's hourglass stands quiet;
        smiles and tears
             entwined
                    in
             moments,
     taking my whole life
in its incomplete continuation.

The things we thought that we should do
We other things have done
But those peculiar industries
Have never been begun—

The Lands we thought that we should seek
When large enough to run
By Speculation ceded
To Speculation’s Son—

The Heaven, in which we hoped to pause
When Discipline was done
Untenable to Logic
But possibly the one—
Between the interpretation
And misinterpretation
Of Love
It suffers the most
Silently shedding tears
For it was never given a chance
To express itself
To the hearts that yearn
In all this conundrum
Love loses
And we blame it
For our misfortune
The moonlight drapes the night
With the shimmering veil
Night’s silhouette looks gorgeous
As it sculpts beauty every where
A dream within, echoes
Across the valley
Loved by the moon
The night bathes in eternal beauty
Silver rays kiss the soul

There are moments
When nothing
Is the key
To getting back to everything

How easy it can be
To forget
What our deepest pain was like.
Yet
it changed us forever.
