Leaves dance in the wind
While i let my thoughts out through a pen
I watch the leaves blow
As time stands slow
The clouds sit still
And the leaves are what I begin to feel

I’ve spent too long
locked in this dark
tower
Thinking myself a
damsel in need of
rescue.
But I’m remembering now
I’m a warrior
And capable of
saving myself.

Let me tell you something about life,
It is too short
Too short to think about yourself as anything less than amazing
Too short to sit back when you get afraid to leap into the unknown
Too short to beat yourself up about mistakes
It is too short
So get out there and live each moment
