Simmering sunrise,
And your wide-open eyes,
Bittersweet agony,
Left by my side.
Screeching my heart is-
Scraping my lungs.
My tongue,
tight and twisted,
My words are numb.
Not bewildered,
By that decision.
Not constraining,
The wheel.
If there was a silver lining,
This is where it would end.
