If
You ever
Feel resistant
Soften
and
surrender
*
Darling
If
There’s one thing
That needs to flow
Like wedding dress
Flow down  the aisle

IT’S LOVE

G A B R I E L A
I placed the hammer on my chest
and laid on the ground as the pain consumed me
I tried to lift it a couple of times
lift that endless weight between my *******
but I wasn't strong enough
I would never be strong enough

I placed a weight on top of the hammer
and felt my heart skip a beat
suddenly, I found it hard to breath
I tried to lift it a couple of times
but I wasn't strong enough
I would never be strong enough

It was all my fault
I became the antagonist in my story
and even the hero in me couldn't beat me
the cycle continued
and I fell deeper into the abyss of pain.

Triste
I wanna talk about you
And the things I miss about you
But you see, my pen is broken
And my heart has lost its rhythm
The words are crooked
And the paper is nothing but rejection
But let me just write this down
You were the kind of love
I planted on a flower ***
You were the kind of love I watered with silence
And you were the kind of love
That blossomed from a distance
And you were the kind of love that was just as equally painful
And yet it was also as hauntingly
beautiful.

My life at
the beginning
of creation
is woven with
words and
watered down
with poetry.
My mind
creates the
pictures that
the heart
wants me to
interpret into
words and
give it life.
My eyes
feeds the mind
with profound
scenes of the
unspeakable,
which my mouth
translates into
intricate words
of clear speech
and poetry.
Complex in nature,
convoluted and tangled,
complicated and twisted,
ravelled and ornate,
labyrinthine and winding,
maze-like and knotty,
serpentine and sinuous,
circuitous and detailed,
daedalian and involute,
mixed up and fiddly,
byzantine and Gordian
mind blowing words
that are arranged
in a delicate way,
to soothe and smooth,
correct and mend,
comfort and bring
solace to heal
our brokenness.

Dear Reader

My poem shows no gender
no color of self.
Just words standing on their own merit.
Vibrating from pen to page,
page to eyes
eyes to readers heart.

My poem written with intent
will not tell where I lay my hat,
or financial status.

Vibrating from visions to mind,
mind to moment
moment to dream.

Its content of words
strung like pearls speak truth
and that is all that matters.

So read on and dance
or perhaps praise, or cry
in gallery of words
It is my gift to you.
Just playing with words that flow in sparks of thoughts.

Now that you know,
yesterday you didn't know.
Today you are smarter.
Tomorrow can be better.
Achievements come
but bit by bit,
from glory to glory.
You can change
and overcome your fate,
not overnight but
consistently by faith.
Insurmountable obstacles
can be leveled,
by daily dose of
your persistent pressure
on its presence.
No amount of cajoling
can stop a determined
soul to step aside
from its beliefs.
There is no turning
back for the one
who sets out to
plough in the
business of living
for he knows the
glory that is to come.
Don't wait for
whatever you want
to come to meet you,
you must move
towards it with
one step at a time.

Deep blue sky
where the poetic
mind dwells

Sun smiles bright
soften my heart away

Moonrise amorous ways
always take my breath away

Stars like diamonds
shines all dark hearts away

Oh how beautiful
they’ve always seem to be
In their glorious ways

Nevertheless
none compares
to the beauty
from the glow
of her heart
I keep
