Halo Jan 2018
Moonlight.
Lights up the night.
Keeps you out of the dark.
It casts a defiant sheen over life.

She is his moonlight.
She lights up the night.
She keeps him out of the dark.... sometimes.
But she's defiant, and she wants everything that is not hers.

Sunshine.
Brilliant and stunningly bright.
Adds a sparkle to his life.
Keeps you out of the dark but also brings light.

I want to be his sunshine.
I want to add a sparkle to his life and his eyes.
I would keep it light,
Fun loving and free.
Just the way young kids should be.

The moon gets it light from the sun.
I am no longer her ghost.
She will be my ghost.
She will want what I have,
And what I love most.
I will not be her follower.
I'm going to take him far.
I will be my own star.
I will get him away from the world and bring him to the stars above.
I will bring him to me. And the universe will too.
I will be his sunshine....... Someday at least.

The sun does not need a moon.
The moon needs a sun.
I am no longer the moon.
My journey to the sun has begun.
This is for me and my friend Serenity

My mother is a piano
A little out of tune
Dusty keys
That play with ease
Ivory as the moon

Sometimes I’ll touch the wood
And admire its antiquity
Think of all the things that it
Ever dreamed to be

Sometimes when my fingers
Fly through a song
I wonder how this piano
Ever got so strong.

My mother is a piano,
She makes music out of air,
She answers each finger
With an embrace, with care

Her legs planted firmly
in the ground
How much I love to hear
her deep, rich sound.

With pedal's red flush
A rose grew in the arctic
Survivng to blush
How can on interpret a poem when no one has a clue who, what or where it is about? What if even the author is unsure?

Galactic domes
Envelop the sky
Geometric tesselations
Mimic starry nights.

White cubes reside
Caressed by the sea
Freckled light tunnels
Flicker vivaciously.

Brought forth
Two-headed sculptures.
Halo Feb 2018
Truth be told I love a boy.
He rocks my world and he lives in another.
There are stars in his eyes and he sees beauty in everything.
We are made for one another.

But Truth be told boy,
You're already dead.
Hit by a smooth criminal right in the head.

Truth be told boy,
You should've seen it coming.
That "Angel" of yours is really just a siren.
She plays on your emotions and your heartbreak.
Dude she's not from heaven.
Let her go.
Halo Jan 2018
I am Tonks.
Don't call me Nymphadora.
I change alot,
My hair,
My clothes.

The real me most people don't know.
I love myself no matter what others think.
My hair can be purple and then bubblegum pink.
I take pride in my house,
I'm not afraid to be myself.
I help others reach their feelings,
No matter high up on the shelf.

I go through lots of things,
Even suicidal thoughts.
Times of wishes,
Times of love,
Times of babies from above.

There are many different stories,
Told to me in my youth.
Storks and fairies,
Magic and wizards,
Tales of falling in love in a blizzard.

I did fall in love.
I fell suddenly and unexpectedly.
I change all the time.
My hair my clothes.
I change suddenly and unexpectedly.
But this, no, this is destiny.
I dye my hair and change my style like once every two months. I thought this applied. Also, my dreamboy Caleb is my metaphorical Remus Lupin. Tonks is my spirit animal. Credits to Harry Potter and the character of Nymphadora Tonks <3
Halo Jan 2018
Love is as blind as a bat.
It is cold,
Stubborn,
And cruel as well.
But love is also the bag of ice to make your wounds not swell.

Sometimes I want to scream and slap him in the face.
Make him see the things I do.
Give him the wisdom of an elephant,
And make him know love when it is true.

Love is blind as a bat.
He doesn't see what she is doing to him.
Love is a daze and a tornado in the summer.
He gets caught up in a storm not meant for him.
Love is mean,
And tough.
And yes rough,
And I'll be there when he's had enough.

I'll be here waiting for him when he realizes she is not the right person for him to be with. I'll be here when he gets cataract surgery and finally sees we belong together. I'll be here when he is no longer as blind as a bat.

Blind as a Bat
Love this poem. Totally relatable and TOTALLY ME! Love if you are going through the same stuff
