My New Found Fashion Trend

You know I never really understood
Why they wear their pants that way
Pull them down to their knees
And walk around all day

But they say it is the fashion
It's a new trend I should try
That underwear is very cool
And catches people's eyes

So I decided I should try it
I pulled my pants down way to far
Then to show the world how hip I was
I walked through Central Park

All the Children were excited
I saw them point my way
They even told their teacher
But she made them look the other way

Well then two cops they came running
I assumed to see my style
I thought my trend was catching on
But those cops they didn't smile

Those cops would start a new trend
One I didn't like as much
They put my hands behind my back
And slapped on silver cuffs

Now this jail cell seems so small
With this big man next to me
He says he'll be my best friend
And he likes just what he sees

So glad to see this courtroom
Filled with people from the streets
They yell rethink your fashion trend
If you're wearing a G-String

Well the Judge he was not happy
But he would not give me time
He said wear a G-String where you want
No one can take that right

You see the Judge he wore a G-String
Underneath his long black robe
Since he did not find me guilty
A free man I could go

So I walked outside that courtroom
As a free man once again
And became so very famous
For my New Found Fashion Trend

Love?

Why does thinking of love
Make me think of you?
I don't even get it

Why is love thought to be so strong
When you can love a pair of shoes

Why is love tied with loss
Was it asked to

How does love tie with you?

Judges of life's wrong
Your indiscretions dismissed
Pray, cease and desist*

~Butterfly εїз ©
A lot of times we judge and look down on others for the same indiscretions we ourselves have fallen prey to. What makes your mistakes tolerable and others mistakes intolerable?

Brushed aside
like a wild hair,
that no longer tickles
in the right place

Only Other

I hit myself with my hammer.
I know you know when I say
Pain so explosive
You laugh.
For sure, you know that thud
That says "nail" like the others, only
Other.

Your eyes hit mine like hardware.
I know you know when I say
Beauty so dizzying
You laugh.
For sure, you know that in
That says "love" like the others, only
Other.

And I knew this girl,
She straightened, she curled
Just to meet up the idea of beauty
To impress others she felt it was her duty.

She was fat and chubby,
Nevertheless she was always called grubby.
She never fit their idea of beauty
Ha! How she thought it was her duty!

Size zero was something she wanted but never got.
And so all they did was leave her to rot!
She hated herself for the way she looked.
But who knew, deep inside real beauty she cooked.

Her beauty was inevitable
But how the world saw her was terrible.
So what if she never fit their idea of beauty?
Little did she know,it was never her duty!

DontLoveMeImBroken
I'm fine
I'm fine
maybe if I say it out loud
it won't be a lie
my heart is dying
I'm always crying
why can't life be simple
why do good things always crumble I wish I could spend forever by your side
But these feelings inside me
I can no longer hide
I know it will fade
But its taking too long
And I don't know what to do
my sanity is gone
please please
see she is wrong
and please hurry
before I am all gone
I can't be around her
I've said this before
the two faced *****
a blood ******* monster
I can be fine
but I can't be ok
still I can fake a smile
if only for your sake
with her around
I can't be happy
too many memories
so much worry
I can't deal with her presence
but I don't want to be apart
and I can see the only way out
is a bullet through my heart

a rain shower fades away in memory
and the air is thick in aftermath
drenched with memory
as we lay beneath the overhang
her lace dress crisp against my cheek
i turn to say something but am
caught up by her distant looking silent revere
the notion of her hand moving along my arm
and her fragile spinning thoughts speaking in her expression
soft skin glows in the evening light
like moonlight was created in her
and the world uses a cheap imitation moon instead of her
she feels me staring and tickles
i laugh and tickle back
we fill our small space with unconquerable giggles
with strong strong loves like sweet wine
we just keep drinking each other in
it always fulfills but its never enough
its like a rose that never fades
like a summer rain shower
soft and slow
wet and warm
intimate to the soul
like a thousand gentle kisses
soaking to the heart and soul
leaves you dancing slow barefoot spins
and heartbeat long pauses in the arch between
ecstasy of body and soul
she is a song to me
and its her love that sings to me
with each nuance of her presence
the day is fading
and soon we will have to pick our selfs up
and drift home
i don't want to get up
don't want to be out of her arms
want this moment to go on and on
want to stay here in
the sand 'neath the overhang forever
laughing holding hands we push back the years
and wonder how we ever
got on without this right here
her hand in mine
if heaven could be described
it would be the quiet dance
two lovers do
in each others arms
without a word
without anything but each other
