I have not been listening
To anything
Ignoring the truths
I did hear
I could not accept
the reality I saw
So I fabricated one
like a child
Listening is Art
Being comfortable
in silence is discipline

Feel your lips tugging

Hide behind walls,
close the curtains,

Pretend you're watching
a sad film,
Pretend for the sake
of your parents,

life.
Pretend for yourself, or else
you'll realize, just how unhappy
you truly are.

I have known
For longer than
I should have endured

I have not shed too many tears
Today…
Last night,
I cried myself to sleep

I dreamed of your touch,

You faded…
In a clouded dust storm

But I did… I finally did
I woke up, I step closer to
The window,
Glorious raindrops falling

My tears dancing
On my cheeks

Love the magic
Mother nature’s way
Pure nature
Heavy snowflakes at its finest
Enjoy

Silence is a place-
a state of being.

Silence comes from without-

Silence is before birth-
endures after death.
