you
the way it always starts,
conversations late at night to midnight and beyond,
never wishing for them to end, could they last for eternity?
but you always know,
you always know that the good things don’t last- months or years?
it will come crashing down
because love is not easy
love is not endless-
‘You’ will not last forever.

Your touch is untraceable,
your love is unforgettable.

The traces you left,
the perfectly placed hickey,
a mark of your love.

Your hand no longer perfectly placed,
my hips missing yours,
my lips longing the gentle bite.

The sensation,
one hand on my hip
the other cupped my cheek soothingly,
You found my secret.

The touch of your hand upon my neck,
The trace of your fingers cascading down my spine,
Your hand wondering in places I’ve never felt before.

You have the magic,
You make me feel a different way
As you gently travel across my tender skin.

Your hand calmly travelling up my stomach,
And when you reach my rosey lips
You gently plant a delicate kiss.

I am lost in a galaxy of love.

the soft tender touch that you imprinted down my spine,
slowly drawing me in closer

the gentle breath along side your amiable heartbeat,
your pulse against my profile

with every breath my head lowers into you,
I have found my place.
