A hook in one hand
Yarn in the other
Weaving in and out
Of each other
Creating something that
Resembles a fabric like substance
That cannot be duplicated
By any machine
With a plethora of patters
And endless possibilities
United the power of creation
Is limitless

Does he or not
It’s all confusing
It’s not pleasant
The wanting to
Figure him out
But you can’t
You try
But it’s not always easy
When he doesn’t
Let on about himself
It like a never ending game
But it is he that is holding
All of the cards
You want him
To come clean
About how he feels
Toward you
So you can avoid looking
Like a fool
But he might want to say
Something to you
But he is not sure
If you’re ready
To hear what he has to say

It’s evil
Unkind
Indiscriminate
This disease
That seems incurable
Takes the people
Who we love
Away from us
The ones who we care
The most
Seen to be
The ones who sufferers
Of this terrible
Disease
But we must remain stay strong
For them
And give them hope
That they need
So that soon
They will be considered
A survivor
And not
A victim

As the years go on
You have always gave your love
To everyone in our life
This usually goes unnoticed
Today is your day to get the notification
That you deserved
Today is your birthday
You should celebrated it
By receiving love
From the ones you care about
So Happy Birthday to you
With love
From us

I feel as though I am walking on eggshells
I am surrounded by people who
Pride themselves in tolerance and diversity
Voicing their opinions loud and clear
Walking on eggshells
My opinions and views differs from them
As it does not align with theirs
Holding my tongue to
Avoid confrontations
I want to speak my mind
So I can stand up for myself
But I stay silenced
Walking on eggshells
Narrowly avoiding certain subjects
For fear of being treated horribly
I want to make friends
That accepts me
Respects my opinions
Walking on eggshells
I feel oppressed and afraid
In my community
Trying to survive
A community of that is not
As tolerant as they preach
I am walking on eggshells
Trying to avoid being called names that
Are not true
I don’t feel safe
While everyone else has
Their safe space
For two years I’ll be
Walking on eggshells

We exist
Our voices may be small
But we exist
Our art might not be political
But we exist
We might not be controversial
But we exist
Our opinions might be ignored
But we exist

You are beautiful
Through the eyes of many
But the only eyes that
Truly matter
Are is the ones that
Comes from heaven above
Through our creator eyes
He made us
Beautiful
Only if we truly believe
In this beauty
That he has given us
We become
Beautiful Inside
And out
