Cook, simmer
Then eat
One lean poem
Per day.
on seeing
her inviting spring
he felt
an instant rousing
my head is full of dark thoughts
so i better stop thinking
before i lose my mind

You and me and the moon
and no one else exists
on this silent night
when only the sound
of our beating hearts
are heard
~
Stars stare down
with smiles glistening,
giggling among each other
at this love they witness,
and I imagine them
reflecting in your eyes
~
Many are the miles
that stand between us,
winding endlessly,
yet shortened by
this sight we both share
on this night when it’s
~
You and me and the moon
*and no one else exists

if i
should find
beneath
these
papersheets of love
so
i have to know
i cann't
let you go
maybe so
but still
i have to know
there is
morning deep
in your
maple smile
these things
i know
these papersheets of love

boy, you fill my days with sweet words
and she was right you can do it better
i saw how your eyes shined
i looked at them for a long time
there were roses in a field
i wonder why chaos is what i need
i wonder why your smiles cannot take me away
just like how hers do
i wonder why your touch cannot lift me up
just like how hers did
i wonder why you cannot brighten up the day
just like how she does
i wonder why, you see,
because she shouldn't be different from you,
but she is.
I think you must have
Pried open my jaw
And slipped your butterflies
Down my throat
Because when ever
I hear your voice
I feel their wings
Fluttering
Inside of me

Trying to get
To you
