Shattered
Hearts like mine,
With unspoken words,
Unknown pain,
Unseen tears,
Unheard pleas,
Just dont sit well,
With hearts like yours.

The cold never bothered me
the snow and ice never fazed
the days of early childhood
never left me dazed.
The rain was always pleasant
it brought joy to my senses
the sight of damp stone walls
were my images of fences.
The summer days spent swimming
first - like a dog might do
but I became proficient
once the summer days were through.
Autumn days were magic
colored leaves came drifting down
jumping into heaps of them
was delightful I soon found.
Seasons of a growing boy
lodged deep in memory
printed here for you to read
thanks for sharing it with me.

I love coffee
it is my favored beverage
it satisfies my soul
it gives me leverage.
To start the day with gusto
with pep and strong vitality
with strength and hardy vigor
to face the day's reality.
Just a bit of coffee
makes the morn much brighter
opening the eyes
my steps a little lighter.
So, here's to that loved bean
may it's power keep us going
to dance the dance of life
and keep the juices flowing!

If your reading this, take heart
it's for you and you alone
for the poetry you write
that makes us sigh and groan;
that makes grin and smile
that inspires and enlightens
our each and every mile
that gives us cries of sorrow
that stirs our hearts to gladness,
that tugs at our emotions
that keeps us all from madness.
Ours is a special group
we honor one another
with tales of poetry
for our sister and our brother.
So, here's to you, the poet
may your poems sing loud and clear
may you never cease to write
causing tears and cheers!!

I say hello
they pass on by
as if they did not hear
strangers on a hiking trail
'tis these people
that I fear.

I'm no pearl
only a pebble
hidden under
the sand of time
unknown
to be discovered
by none-
yet I don't complain
or moan-
what I am
happily I accept
being just alone
a tiny stone-

the rose
has my pity
it blows
and loses
its beauty
when the sun
loses its glow
and admirers
are gone

a pebble I am
free to the bone
my life
as in
a perfect cone
abiding
consistent
unchanging
with nothing
to atone.

hobbled by anxiety
fear stays in plain sight.

Existence, Nevermore.
From birth to the grave, fast or slow, it comes the same.
Nevermore.

Joy or despair, you lived a life, at the end of your road, as always, nevermore.

It does not rush, nor waste your time, it follows you slow and calm, until eventually, nevermore.

Memories flash, love and loss, a warm hug to go, then it fades, and next, nevermore.

Young or old, ready or not, it's okay, just a gentle sleep, rest well, nevermore.

What happens next?
Unknown.
Welcoming.
Peace for all.
Nevermore.
Poem for school, just wanted to share, enjoy.
You looked into me
Deep, into the mess
You had made
Said my eyes were
Honestly so beautiful
The addition of
Welling tears served
As the object of your
Desire and you
Kissed me under
A full and heavy
Blood red moon

Two souls on a bench where autumn glows—
gold leaves falling, time slows,
wordless connection as day dims,
their silhouettes merged at the rims.
