It’s been a while,
since I’ve felt this way.
It feels like I could write an entire novel about you,
but only one sentence keeps repeating:
I can’t sleep at night.
Has anyone ever made you feel
like your entire world is crashing around you?
Suddenly I’m realizing how big the world is,
and how far away you are.
And I wish I could write poems
about how one day
I’ll be able to hold your hand
forever.
But instead all I can write about is how
you make me so happy that I hate myself
for falling for you.
