I will always remember,
As long as my mind is well,
To save things soft and tender,
Joyful stories I can tell.

I will learn to leave behind,
Unpleasantries to forget,
To delete them from my mind,
Tales of sadness and regret.

Dear self,
In losing you

Days seem blurry
Nights seem scary

Heart grows weary
Eyes turn teary

I lost the merry
I lost the power to write my story

The calling is quite clear
“wake-up the time is here”
No don’t go back to sleep
In the materials of the meek

Rise and shine
with your true kind
Claim your human needs
Take a moment outside of time
Let yer enter guidance lead!

What are your feelings asking you?
Your heart is on the line
Hear the greater calling
For we are all divine!

“hart on the line”
I’m from the time when there were
Telephone lines everywhere in the city of Flint…

The frequency of my love
Is in the strokes of my heart
Beating in atonement
With my music and my art

Lifting ever higher
The vibration of my will
I have come to realignment
Where peace is all that’s real!

Free of pain.
How do you know you exist?
Arthritic old sits daily twisted,
Grey eyes struggle, tears misted.
Lost a friend or mother?
Money, job, sister, brother?
Respect, youth, your truth?
The great questions of life and death,
Answered in last quivered breath.

Each day I awake for the sun.
Listen,  last song she sung.
Wonder stars filling night sky.
Where will I go when I die?
Cry as wars fill the earth,
Heroes finding their worth.
Feeling that child in my arms.
Loving you, kissing you warm.

Pain lies hidden each day,
Holding the answer at bay.
How long can I stay,
Loving you?

This is it
I feel the vibe
This poem's going to stay alive

I got it now
I feel the flow
This poem's going to learn to grow

It's all okay
I feel revived
This poem's going to learn to thrive

It's too late now
I feel it slow
Back to hidden it will go...

When white lies trickle
into my speech
I hold my tongue
pressed against my teeth

I take a deep breath
and tell the truth
I can’t live this life
any better then you!
