Instead of my eyes
there are sunglasses
The whole world will be colored...

به جای چشمانم
عینک آفتابی گذاشته ام
...تمام جهان رنگی خواهد شد
this was my first poem that i wrote, i think i was 15

Dark n Beautiful
How to make yourself happy
compose a poem
and called it poetry,

let your inspiration comes
from that day, that time, that hour

when you felt sad:
then whisper to yourself
Good, golly miss molly
I can breathe again:

kain
Tired
Always tired
Eyelashes
Sting my eyes
Blinking is a pain
Honestly
Today
Early morning rising
No food
Before a blood draw
It must be good
Or else I'll never leave

At least there's birds today
A dog on the
Front porch
Sprawled out
Like my dreams
Dreams of going somewhere
Anywhere
That this isn't
I have those
To count on
To count up
And swallow
Like the pills
That I took
This morning

It's too early for this ****
I'm getting my blood drawn. I'm sorry if none of this makes sense to anyone but me.

him
I want to label this wound
with a single word
but I cannot find one that fits

I wanted to call you Father,

but you would not have stood for that
you would have seen my intent,
tasted my defiance.
you understand the power of our names
you scent it in the air,
primal,
an instinctive predator.

Father, would have given me space,
the first step towards an open door

Dad, bound me close
with coarse, abrasive rope
that you called
love and loyalty and family

it would not hurt me, you said
as long as I kept still

so I hid my heartbeat from you
in the steady thrum of others'
because there is safety in a crowd
I offered you Father-in-law
I let you have Grandfather

but I cannot do
what is second nature to you,
I cannot look at family
and see prey

so I ran
I took what I could carry and I fled
I chose my own name for you

I called you no-one
I called you my past

but a letter came today
registered post
and you have signed it
Dad
He is there but nobody sees him
He speaks but no one can hear
He lives his life in confinement
And no one ever comes near.
To watch him He looks rather lonely
He is lost that is perfectly clear.
Once a child in the arms of his mother
And his father would always be near.
But parants don't last forever
And soon they are no longer here
Now there  is nobody out there
To chase away all of his fears.
He walks to his flat he has no one
Loneliness his only friend
Is this what he really lives for
With nothing to show at the end.
Let's start from the very beginning
It happens in this day and age
Take note of this lonely stranger
Invisible in so many ways.
Watched a documentary a couple of years ago about the amount
Of people who live on their own it was amassing. Although this poem
Is a true case of a man who really was let down by the people around
Him saddly he was like being invisible  in the eyes of the world.
He just didn't fit in with others .
