Autumn Rose
Midnight winter
drooped her
garden of roses.
Frozen petals
scattered through
the indifferent
wind as crystal
snowflakes are
swiftly drifting by.

So sister Moon
shed a single
tear of sorrow
- A silver droplet
fell from
heaven's sky.
Slipping and sliding
from pine needle
to pine needle.

And when brother Sun
spread his gold,
he saw a sparkle
in the snow.
Two red cherries
hanging alone,
Nightfall slowly comes.

She stared with delight
as it began to shine.
He gave her
the gift of life
to her garden
of one moonflower,
Blooming in infinite ways...

The Winter Is Colder For Those
With No Warm
Memories
Are You Cold?

Hello, winter
With your frozen charms
And sparkling ice
Your lacy snowflakes
And cold, howling wind
Whenever I breathe
Your artic air
I can see my breath in puffs
Hello, winter
Welcoming snowdrops
Under cover of ice and snow
Hello, winter
I put on my jacket
And race outside to welcome you

Spring feels like summer even though
Playful breezes stir the tall green grass
Rich red soil feels warm beneath bare feet
Irises hidden in the forest bloom unnoticed
Never do the birds more sweetly sing
G**oodbye to ice-cold winter
Hope You All Enjoy This Poem!!! :) ~~~<3

Such a beautiful season of the year
Pink cherry blossoms are opening
Rabbits come out of their burrows
It is a time when birds begin to sing
Never more sweetly do the creeks gurgle
Gracefully the butterflies dance and flowers waltz

I love the beautiful Autumn
With its bright colors
It is such a beautiful season

Chilly breezes blow
And cold winds howl at night
I love the beautiful Autumn

The time when everything's covered with leaves
I love this season
With its bright colors

Sun shines across those beautiful paths
Illuminating them with light
It is such a beautiful season

sky
sun rise
early morning dawn
cascades upon blanketed lawn
decorative leaves poke through snow
strong reminder that nothing can grow
including the daisy and every other flower
nights become longer, days shorter by the hour
and flying to the south  robin, crane and hummingbird
a wolves forlorn howl does not go unheard
nor does that of the snowy owl
a north wind itself does howl
a weathered husk does blow
dancing across the snow
a lonely endeavor
but forever
hopeful

As winter approaches this came to me and is also personal in some ways, but what I really wanted to do was try and create a poem that started with one word then each subsequent line added a word until the middle of the poem where a word was taken out to eventually end with one word...and hopeful is always a state of mind that is more positive, and better to proceed through life with.  Hope U enjoy.  Live 4 Love

The full moon, golden hued, bathed in wisps of clouds
Stares intently at the barren trees along the river
A white Biboon blanket being gently pulled back
Inside her den a mother bear and her cubs stir
Sounds of ice, creaking and cracking
Resonate through the naked woodland
Ice, slowly breaking away and fleeing from winter's frozen grip
Float lazily down stream
Upon free running waters carrying away the anguish endured
Gentler, warmer breezes carry dreams that become reality
The coming rains will soon nourish Mother Earth
Kissing her gently
Breathing life back into her dormant flesh
Barren trees clothed once again
Life springs forth at a rapid rate
Bathing in the yellow light of day
Birds sing with joy
In the meadow, a brown eyed Daisy
Invites butterfly kisses upon her ethereal beauty
An iridescent flash, a glitter, from the south
Flitting from flower to flower Hummingbird dances
As a tender southerly breath reminds us to forever be...

A mighty river sings her song
Fast flowing waters swell her form
Her mesmerizing sound envelopes the night
As trees upon her banks,
Dressed in full regalia,
Dance in the pale moonlight...awaiting
The Dawn of a New Day

Eastern Phoebe, first to awaken heralds the new day
Her short bursts stir those in the forest
Robin commences his morning song
Resonating melodic perfection
Peeking above the horizon, the Sun
Orange hue bathing Mother Earth
Warms Terra Firma

Her coat of green
Covered in morning dew
Glistens beneath the radiant Sun
Mother Bear makes her way along the river's bank
Carefully teaching her cubs their daily lessons
She is key to their survival
She is their world

Monarchs and Swallowtails, warmed by the sun
Flutter by, tasting the sweet floral nectar
Brown eyed Daisies...await
The flight of the bumble bee
Hummingbirds dart and dance from flower to flower
Delicately tasting the sweet nectar
As they so precisely hover

The morning breeze stirs the trees awake
The sound...tranquil as crashing waves upon the shore
Muffle the stealthy steps of Lobo
And lift Eagle to wondrous heights
As a baby fawn lies motionless, scentless, while mother doe stands watch
Welcome 2 the Dawn...of a New Day...
...of a New Hope

The third in a line of "season" poems that have had a seed planted within me.  It is summer and the warmer days, bountiful sun and starry skies, with the summer triangle, signal a wonderful time of year.  We have the opportunity to see all of spring's new creations blossom and grow...we have the sheer joy of feeling the warmth of the sun on our faces...brightening each day.  And summer is even better when sharing it with Lobo :-) I hope U all are having a splendid summer...all I know, is that regardless of the season, I am blessed, and in the words of Prince...Beautiful, Loved and Blessed 4 that matter.  Live 4 Love y'all!

Over the rooftops, windows and treetops - came sun
summer magenta, morning of skies will come.
Singing in silvery shadows, hummingbird drinking in penstemons
a day dappled in sun and sun, til evening late in brightest moon to light this earthly dome.
All the yesterdays sailing on, beyond the dark and stars.
How fast and far to roam, all the days
that come and come.

In morning sun
yellow-green leaves
black branches
such contrasts flow..
yellow sun warmth
seems to pull..
pulls the sensations
fullness and growth
and makes nature
luxuriant once more..
hidden chirpers note
the dawning of
summer...

Her eyes were cold sun,
Red hair shouts our love undone,
Maple leaves falling.
