Carry me away on your
Silent moon beams
That grace the night skies
With gentle visions of peace.

Help me to drift away on
Nights so silent
Filled with dreams to come
And tears of things gone astray.

Wrap me up within the
Night skies somber embrace.
A lullaby of thoughts
Waiting to be dreamt or felt my the few

Moon

In moments when the long night
Recoils from even the moonlight
Stars and their whispering intentions
Time and its travel slowly
To the fields
And their reach

To draw to the beaches
Harsh pounding wave
And sudden crash
Climactic breach
Of security and sinking feet

We try and clang the bell
Announce the fall
To all who might dwell in that place
Distanced from the longing
By loneliness and crippling complacency

Like shadows of our youth
And the days we grinned the future
Wearing it proudly on brown arms
The sun and my freckled smile

Captured in a Kodak captivity
Loss of better things
Or promise?
A tomorrow lit up
Even in the night

The great skill
Of healing well
And rest was not lost for the wicked

The might of consequence
Had not taken its swing
And days were spent without concern of their cost
A weary hour had not yet creased my forehead

My thoughts race faster than the clock
And still the tick tick
Slip away
Of what it meant to me
Your embrace
I could not now
Sketch your face

Once singing clarity
A vanishing
But the cloud that kills the moon
And hope would feel like anarchy

But the moon will surely pull
The waves to shore
And with their rapture
Your wake

And a golden spot to cause my eye to blink
For time
She does move surely
And on and on into this
And so do I as well

So do I as well

Be careful of the darkness, be careful of the night
Don't you ever walk alone, beneath the full moonlight
Lurking in the shadows, could be victims first blood bite
The luna cycle is complete, now the moon is fully bright

Hiking across the countryside, it may turn into a sham
Don't get lost and find yourself, inside the Slaughtered Lamb
What exactly is the meaning, of the five point pentagram ?
A star to warn of evil, or an ancient symbol scam !

If you find yourself alone, and your walking in the dark
Don't ever vere of the roads, and don't go in the park
Be weary of the shadows, and beware of
full moons bark
Stay out of the subways, or you'll be the lupins mark

Traveling on the underground, well this would be your choosing
Empty platforms late at night, could turn out quite confusing
A jagged tooth's awaiting you, your life you may be losing
Claws severing your mortal soul, and you wont find it amusing

You will know the moon is full, when the werewolf roars
A soft throat is easily torn, if you stroll on the Moore's
I don't know if you'll be safe, being locked behind closed doors
The wolfs curse is haunting you, a scratch from blooded claws

You'll suffer an unnatural death, if you don't watch where you tread
Condemned to walk in limbo, and be part of the undead
Decaying flesh on rotted bones, untill the last bloodline is bled
A silver bullet should be used, to sever the cursed thread

So don't dismiss the wolf-man, as a convict or a loon
With supernatural forces, it means that no one is immune
Cycles of the werewolf, well they come round all too soon
The Lycanthrope is watching you, so beware the moon
Well I started to write this quite some time ago hoping for a Halloween release however it took longer than I thought but finally it is here in time for Christmas, wrong season I know but the werewolf does appears every month according to folklore and the luna cycle which occurs every 29.5 days so it's still relevant

The radiant face of the moon so proudly shone
The ragged pall of night was beamed asunder;
Melancholy peals of distant thunder
Sang across the sky they sailed upon.
Receding darkness flowed like ebbing tides
Revealing peaks of snow-clad evergreens
That lent a lonesome beauty to the scene
Portrayed upon the starlit mountainside.
Indeed, the face of the moon so proudly shone
That snow upon the trees did melt and shroud
The lofty mountain peaks with heavy cloudΒ Β
Until – the splendour of the scene was gone.
On the  other side of the moon
What is there on the other side of the moon?
Is it hot or is it cold?
What is there?
I do behold
Is there another human race?
That we eventually
Have to face?
Are there plants ?
And Are there trees?
Do they have summer?
And a winter freeze?
Or is it somewhere we all go
When we leave this planet?
Do we really, want to know?

Tonight, I was captivated by the moonlight,
lost in its golden light and sheer brilliance,
its lurid kingdom radiating passionate dreams
in my midst, the kind that made you feel alive
inside, the kind that made you burst into blossoming
songs, divine rhymes, rich beats brimming
in my system, gathering momentum as they
reached higher frequencies.Β Β The golden glow
of the moon had stolen my soul, captured
the artful creations and poetic imagination
of my nation, inhaling my supreme space
stations, breathtaking sensations, exquisite
diction, flawless fiction, and nonfiction,
bright vowels evolving, revolving upon
my dynasty.Β Β The moon was inside of me,
all wonderfully made, mesmerizing, inviting,
stroking the ocean of my emotions, taking
me into its endless dreamland.

Whenever I look at the stars
I forgot about all my scars.
Your are my universe.
I am your moon.

The beams of moonlight
roll down a silver carpet
in the sandy bank.
The soft singing gentle
lapping waves glitter
with its milky jewels

Became the moon's messenger
carrying its silver pamphlets
to the silvery shaded tree.
The milk white pamphlet
with silvery words carrying
message to the Sun to rise late

The moon became the silent audience
enjoying the love birds
perched on the silver tree.
