Another day falling
from the crack of yesterday,

a patch of pearl
burning in the amber west
flaring up heaven
firing me up
in the pains of solitude
and poetry.

Home beckons through a dark way
where hope breathes eternal
as lanterns of moonlit leaves.

I won't mourn the loss
but fill all the void
with paper and ink.

I met this girl
Who couldn't speak,
But signed
And sighed she loved me.

I met this girl
With discerning taste,
Who held the virtue
Of human grace.

I met this girl
Who couldn't hear,
But felt me beat,
And knows my tears.

I met this girl
Who had the touch,
She wasn't one
To demand so much.

I met this girl
Who couldn't see,
Perhaps that's why
She's in love with me.
Added two stanzas and reposted.

Do not believe these wrinkles on my face
And the lies that they tell.
For I have years of growing up to do.
I know so,
For I am still at a point,
Where I am too scared to be with you,
And too selfish
To want to see you with anyone else.

Idiosyncrasy
I didn't have to be with you,
It was enough for me to love you.

It was enough to hear you laugh
Whenever someone cracks a joke
It was enough to hear you talk
Even if it's not solely to me
It was enough to see you smile
Whenever we meet at the hallway
It was enough to see your eyes shine again
Filled with love and passion for new dreams and adventures
Just like then.

*It was enough for me to love you,
But sometimes,
Sometimes I wish you'd love me too.
Friends are all we'd ever be.

.
I saw you with her,
One day in the sun,
I was only shadow,
Blankness overrun.

Rains fell as I flew,
In greyest courtyards,
Hard as stone set low,
I was but a lone shard.

You looked so happy,
So tame with her light,
I felt a shudder growing,
Held back with all might.

There you were together,
My past one dead page,
You two so happy there,
And my life all the rage.
