Aphasia
Oh, not too bad
(I haven't slept)
Y'know, on and off
(I mean this week I haven't wept)
It used to be worse
(I'm not in despair)
I'm holding up
(I won't let myself go there).
Some days are hard
(I feel so drained)
I think everyone's struggling
(I've numbed the pain)
Yeah, I'm okay
(I can't keep pace)
Thanks, I'm alright
(I miss my okay place).
Perfection is an illusion
Unless the subject is God
Strive to be kind, not perfect!
Please understand that the choice to be kind, happy, gentle, vulnerable comes from a place to not allow the pain of life to callous you. We might as well make the madness beautiful. Because illness is a manifestation of collected stress, hurt, pain, trauma and suppressed feelings. Be good to yourself and others, brothers and sisters.

Colm
Sometimes feeling
Like a flower unfolding

Open to any passing bee
Overcaring and all giving of pollen
Of any wanting or for wanters flying by

I avail myself
Until I am tired and empty
She traced for me a kiss so sweet

A flower grew between our teeth,

Four arms they wove a tangly wreath

In a bed of summer leaf.
My first post here. Just wanted to keep it simple and short. Thanks for the read!
Involved in Self

No one is more involved in self than
Self, for self is everyman
And every self a constancy,
The constancy ubiquitous.
Once you have a grasp of this
And use it thus,
You know all that there is to know
About this large and growing human race.

Some dispute the truth that is.
Ergo, the key — one of the keys
Is letting go the ego to please
Ego’s needs,
Which ego feeds self-interest,
(Not always the best of interests.)
Nonetheless,
No one is more concerned with self
Than self - oneself.
If one can land in understanding
By the  broadest of acceptances,
One’s earned and learned the keys
To standing inside happiness
Outside of loneliness.

The people take the flowers
By their hands from the plants
to end that life in a single day
You broke my heart by your words from my body to end my feelings in a single day
