How is it so easy for people to forget about me?
Like I mean nothing
I’m just something
People play with and toss out when they get  bored

I had hope
that things would be different with you
that you would treat me the way I deserve
that you would love me in ways I’ve dreamed about
that you would sweep me off my feet
that we would have a magical story
but it turned out to be just another nightmare
another betrayal
another lesson
another few months of crying
another wasted love lie
I had hope
But that’s all it was

it’s only been a week
but i feel so weak
without you
how do i get rid
of these feelings
i’ve evolved
about you
i became accustomed to having you
that now
i don’t know what to do
without you

Why choose me?
Only to use me
Why take my heart
Only to make it fall apart
Why come into my life
To ruin my peace of mind
And make me believe so many lies
If you didn't care about me
Why'd you put up a fight
To catch my attention and become a part of your life
Why are you acting so indifferent?
You've become so cold
You're not the guy I used to know
But I can't seem to let go
Of the "love" I used to know
I put up with the *******
Hoping that you would change and go back to your old ways
But you're far gone
And never to return
So I must let go
Of who I thought you once were

I feel so helpless and alone
you were the only one who made it better
but you’re no longer in my life
so I have no other source on which to rely

Why did you have to come into my life
And destroy the self love that took me so long to create overtime
You could've just left me alone
Because now im sitting here wondering why it was so easy for you to let me go
Why did you wait so long to let me know?
That from the start your intentions weren’t profound
Why lead me on with words you didn't’ mean
And send them to every other ******* your screen
I wasn't as special to you as I once believed
Now I feel stupid as I weep
I was fine before I met you
So why make your way in just to make a mark and leave?
If you knew you didn't want me
Why play games and make it seem
Like I was the only girl you wanted to see

I know I wasn’t perfect
I know I made mistakes
But why’d you have to treat me that way?
I know I wasn’t you’re only one
And you weren’t mine
But losing you hurt like hell
While you didn’t mind
and see that’s the difference between us two
I fell in love with you
but you..
never cared
why would you?

and what hurts me the most
is that you don’t care
because i do
so much

Like leaves on a tree
You fell off when you no longer needed me
Blowing through the breeze
Now I see you with another tree

I write poetry
For boys who don’t give a **** about me

Tell me what I have to do
To have atleast a part of you
There isn't much you have to do
To make me fall inlove with you
I'm in too deep
To let go of this idea I have of you and me
I'd do anything to please you
I'd do anything to see you
I wish I could have you to myself
but even if you have someone else
I'd be okay with that.

He's the kind of guy who makes you feel like it’s too good to be true
He's the kind of guy who will tell you lies
But he's the kind of guy who will make you feel like they’re true
You’ll feed into his words
And believe his lies
Because you want it to be true
But deep down inside you know he’s going to hurt you
But that won't stop you
Because you figure you’ll enjoy it while it lasts
Though you know it won't
And it’ll be over soon
So when it ends, it will break you
It already is
His half *** attention
His broken promises
His words he doesn't prove
They hurt you
But you hold on
Breaking yourself
For a boy who’s too good to be true

i told you i was hurting
and you caused me more pain

Writing poetry is writing the words I could never say to you
I must stay away from you
As I write my feelings down on this screen
For the whole world to read
You must never see
The hurt you’ve placed in me
You don’t deserve to be
The reason why my soul bleeds.

I'll never be good enough for you
I'm not even good enough for me

You'll never know how many nights I cried
You'll never know how many times I wondered "why?"
You'll never understand the pain you caused
that made me want to die
When you left, you left a mess in my heart
and while you're alright and moved on with life
I'm still here wanting to know "why?"
Iv'e been drowing in my thoughts, let's be real
You'll never realize how you made me feel
The nights we spent together, felt surreal
it's over.
You'll never know how I feel
Now that you're gone and no where near
