I sit on the edge of this

solemn bed of mine.

Like sitting on the edge of

outer-space, the universe.

I feel nothing, I hear nothing,

I do see darkness in all of the space it clouds my

mind blacking out the sun.

This life full of space, full

of chatter sounding like a drone of

white noise.

Is it worth the empty space

that's on my heart?

The universe has set fires in

those empty spaces.

Now, I lay in the empty space

that my body has forms in the solemn

bed of mine.
It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.

Questions go unanswered
I lie awake
The world is still turning
At the same rate
Everybody wonders
Why it’s not right
Everybody has time to think
Late at night

How do you put yellow into blue
Without making green
How can you love
Without ever wanting to scream
How do you put halos on angels
Without giving wings
How can you say goodbye
Without ever saying hello

Questions go unanswered
I sit alone
My head is clearing
But my thoughts they still roam
Time doesn’t stop
For any one man
But you can try
Catch it if you can

How do you put yellow into blue
Without making green
How can you love
Without ever wanting to scream
How do you put halos on angels
Without giving wings
How can you say goodbye
Without ever saying hello

Questions go unanswered
I walk the crowd
No one is talking
But we all think too loud
Everyone has questions
No one’s got answers
But we need an anchor
Or the line always blurs

How do you put yellow into blue
Without making green
How can you love
Without ever wanting to scream
How do you put halos on angels
Without giving wings
How can you say goodbye
Without ever saying hello

Questions go unanswered
As I sing this song
Guess we all knew this
All along
Just take a hand
And you won’t need so much
At least take some comfort
Someone understands enough

How do you put yellow into blue
Without making green
How can you love
Without ever wanting to scream
How do you put halos on angels
Without giving wings
How can you say goodbye
Without ever saying hello

How do you put yellow into blue
Without making green
How can you love
Without ever wanting to scream
How do you put halos on angels
Without giving wings
How can you say goodbye
Without ever saying hello
How can you say goodbye
Without ever saying hello
"If music be the food of love, play on."

In a crowded room,
But no one hears me screaming,
Hundreds of people surround me,
But I've never felt so alone.

I don't need just anyone,
But god, do I need someone,
Why can I long for people,
But never say a word.

I tell myself I'm stronger than that,
And hate to admit I'm weak,
That I may wake up one day,
To find it is true.

That maybe I do need someone to hear me scream,
And scream with me as loud as they can,
Till our eardrums burst from the sound,
And drown out all my loneliness.
"Even Castles made of sand, fall into the sea, eventually."

Guardian of the night

without my sight

holding on with all of my might

and the stars are pulling really tight

I pray very deep

wishing that I will keep

and all my life I will sleep

dreaming of a little tiny sheep

I am blind as a bat

can't find a way to pet my cat

nobody with whom to chat

and I am sad and lonely like that one single rat

guardian of the night

ready for the flight

disposing of all the frights

heading towards the light

and I am the guardian of the night
"I often wake up in the night, and I like to have something to think about."
