flowing rivers,
grassy greens
shinning stars,
wretched dreams

Kim Essary
Your darkness falls all over me;
Blackened so it's hard to see.
The only lights that shine on you is the light from the stars and moon that comes through.
The evils of this world consume you,
As they are hidden in the shadows of your darkness too.
As the sun begins to rise and begin a new day,
The darkness of the night slowly fades away.
When you return after the day is done.
Your darkness of night replaces the sun.
Baby blue blur
The dolls eyes are wet
Darling, please
Trying, begging again
Gripping tight, letting go
But it haunts
Cries are like smoke
Nightmares never fade
Abstract again. Just wanted to take this time to thank everyone so much for their kind comments on youth. I never thought I'd receive a daily poem. I feel completely honoured. It's my favourite poem as well! :) Thanks again , Skye

Ciel Noir
tick tock tick tock                                 second hand
just another                                       grain of sand
tick tock tick tock                       seconds pass
which grain                                   of sand
will be                                   the last?
spilling                    falling
like a fountain
sand
turns
    back
   into a mountain
all until  the glass is filled
and there is     nothing left to spill
tick tock tick tock                 seconds pass
like a river                               smooth as glass
tick tock tick tock                             second hand
where the water                                meets the sand
