Lonely man...lonely soul
Keeps to himself a world of solitude
A world of secrets
....night crops in...
Birds flatter in the dark trees...long shadows....silhouettes
Night of the full moon, bats cry nervously.
Man seized with fever...sweating....groaning....
hair growing longer body growing bigger
Clothes start to fall off...a distant howling is heard..,a tail springs
Beast man falls on all fours
Jumps through the window...on to the rooftop... Deciding where the howling came from...springs down and runs fast into the woods...
Looking for his pack.far away from humanity....in the dark rim, he howls again, a thunderous roar...the alpha is around
The pack sits.... long snouts gazing at the   moon, watching the clouds go by...there in the night...the urge to test blood engulfs his wild heart.

LISTENING TO NATURE SINGING
Andrew Juma
Hearing the wind  whistle  among the trees,
In the wee morning hours,

Or  the chirping birds' acappellas,
Among dripping leaves,

And the waterfalls cascading Rocky cliffs,
Clearly one believes that
Man has not written the best of songs,
Among non/ living things.

No One Forgets their First
A year of awakening,
A company unforgettable, a journey to the forbidden...
hours of speaking without words,
contemplation...confession...

The unending conversations,
Wrapped in warmth untold...
Respect unheard...care...concern
A world of two, a space untouched.

The eye you gave me,
I knew you were only for me
A heaven built for me...
Wine...chocoalate..honey..milk...

Hours of just you and me,
Wanted to sing to you Baby Face..Lionel Richie...Nameless
Wanted to make it endless
In a world of preying hawks
I was never insecure

No one forgets their first,
No one forgets their first-
endorsed by angels above,
You don't try too hard with the first
But you try less you lose

Gifts you gave me I still keep,
But a broken trust is what you keep,
I dream of you sometimes,
But its just a sweet little past.
I miss you  VIRGINIA
No one forges
no one forgets

Chocolates ,warmth,love
The first time I walked with a girl I was nine,
Cold and weighted down,
With a backpack full of books
June,my feet freezing in my shoes,
My breath producing steamy frost ahead of me,
Then disappearing.I walked toward her house,
The one ever quiet with many trees,
A dog barked at me until she came out
Hands in gloves and woven marvin on the head, I smiled, touched her shoulder and  led her down the street, across a green park and a garage, until we were facing an old candy shop, we entered, I turned to the sweets ,colored and boring,
I asked her what she wanted-
Light in her eyes, a smile split across her face,
I fingered a penny in my pocket,
And when she lifted a chocolate, I didn't say anything.I took the penny and a different flavor, and placed them squarely on the table,
When I looked up, the girl's eye met mine, and she held them,
Knowing very well what it was about,
Warmth,
Outside, a few cars hissing past,
I unwrapped mine fast and shared a bite
Fog hanging low in the trees,
Warmth spreading in my veins,
I held my girl's hand in mine

The Knight of faith
EYE TO EYE WITH THE DEVIL
THE WORLD SHUT AWAY
FISTS CLENCHING IN MENACE
A FURNACE  OF SMOLDERING SULPHER
MY MISSION TO ACCOMPLISH
SO  OTHERS CANNOT SUFFER
A CHILD OFFERED TO THE MONSTER
**** OR BE KILLED THE KING DID NOT BOTHER
NO SOUL EVER RETURNS AFTER
- THE LAST VAULT OF THE DUNGEON IS SEALED.
HOPE IS MY BEST FRIEND
UNTIL MAYBE IM SKULL AND BONES
AND THE GODS SEND THE RAINS

ONE THING I KNOW FOR SURE
IM NOT READY YET TO DIE

THE CREATURE  ADVANCES AND ROARS
A VOICE WHISPERS YOU ARE NOT  LIKE THE OTHERS
MY HEART POUNDS ,I STAND MY GROUND.
