Pallbearers dancing to the bank
As deaths keep on soaring high
Who knows the crimes of the dead?
Except the unseen hands of creation.

Sickness ravages the souls of men
Children pleading for more years
Who cares about their yearnings?
Only the dying mothers.

Famine saddens the hearts of All
Pests smile towards the crops
Who can salvage the situation?
The Guardian of the yields beckons.

Babies cry for food, shelter and water
Markets are closed to All
Floods impede movement
As the wailings continue.

Lyrics of bounded intimacy gladdens her conquered mindset
Over the hills of Abeokuta, love flows like waterfall
Vying for the golden heart of  a conquered and bullied one
Eagerly waiting for the crown of love that's beyond

Hating speaks ill of emotions of her past dealings
Daunting cowards scare her of love scars and wonds
Brave hearts smile to her but she giggles and worries
Stepping forward to behold her angelic monster with vexation.

Bridegroom implores the mystic of time and imaginations
Smiling to the awaiting hands of her selfish fantasy and ego
Reminiscing to the high tune of affection and wander of the past
Aimlessly searching for a perfect-godly bride that is beyond her.

Recalling past timelines make her smile, angry, aloft and joyous
Searching for a warmth hands is all she dreams of her present
Not forgetting previous intimacies that weakens her nerves and heart
A diva in her youth as she beckons for unrealistic wishes.
The ground will testify our PAST when we fall asleep permanently.

Diseases trailing the footsteps of aliens
Destruction beholding the hearts of babies
Death knocking at the Piper's doors
Oh desolate one! Who is thy saviour?

Humour fazes the face of the Earth
Humility speaks from the mouth of the greed
Value of lives destroyed in the altar of cowardice
Valour depicts heroism and ineptitude of the peasants.

Kurds wailing for the survival of herself
Syrians wishing to behold the cloud of peace
Baghdad - a terrain for anarchy and chaos
Who can save the lad from tears of joy?

Boots stamping bullies the ants and termites
Grenades and other munitions gladden the world.
Mankind weeps as she encounters grief.
Men in suits dance to the bank hallway
The world cries for the colossal damage mankind has passed through.

MEN ARE SCARED BY UZO OKOLI

Destruction and deaths knock
Scavenging the hearts of men
Beckoning for the blood of mankind
As the breath of humanity seizes

Who can breath the air of life to Us?
Who can cleanse the carcass down the road?
Who can beseech the curses of demons?
Who can conquer the hearts of the vampire?

All men are scared like Myself.
Alas! The traitor of humanity
Worshipper of the goddess of opulence
With a vicious cycle of greed and hatred.

Who will protect the footsteps of men?
Who will speak to the dead conscience of mean men?
Who will promote the virtues of our Creator?
Who will secure the heart of the world?
The unknown terrain of our contemporary world makes us scared of our tomorrow.

Ruins
Masked men with marching munitions
Searching under the scorching sun
Tired hearts with Giants legs
Receiving the marching orders from Cowards

Pawns serving as agents of protection
To the indolent Bishops and Rooks
The enemies' targets the overthrow of the King
Through the Queen's contempt.

Wavering flags give birth to victory
Songs of triumphant entry bellow
The ruins of the city cry vociferously
As the vultures perform the post mortem.

Humanity by Uzo Okoli

Sun rises to the East
War ravages the North
Climate bullies the West
Poverty destroys the South

Who will conquer the vultures?
No dove in the jungle of war
Mankind fights unfinished trend
That gives a sad face to All.

Forgiveness lies beneath 1000feet
Enemity surrounds humanity like water
Raring her ugly head as a wise serpent
Pains, poverty, population spells doom to Us.
Tears and wears paint the walls of everyone.
