If the hands of a clock
had fingers, high fives
equalling ten, is noon?

Where is the center of your soul
Finding the middle of this world
Turning this world upside down
Jumping in and singing out
Diving into the deepest blue sky

The sky takes its rest,
Bright but elderly
What we are is still new enough
We keep abreast of the smoothness in each other,
at behest of your more rational spirit,
I aspire to glide through days,
But sometimes I fixate on details,
Keen and intense like the sun in memories,
I drown at times in the now
Limbs possessed by the sweet whatever,
Your passage is smooth,
A vision of composure wherever you go.

comfort u gave became cold
happiness u gave became temporary
sadness u gave were permanent.

Show me a lover of silence
I would give them shelter
and listen to their words.
