It's an all together crash course
In knowing what to perceive
Crazy was a bit more vague
When I was in my teens
Sure, I recall
Deep throats liars
Cheating secrets
Underneath Bill's desks
But nothing quite as obvious
As being partnered
To a genocidal mess

When it's finally over
Despite some new big bang
Desensitized to algorithms
I'll still be writing
Passionately in vain

The Poetic pen
Can never ceases
The heart that feels
The eyes that bleed

I will always share
My love with you
My misery
My shocking truths

Vibration within a listening ear
My voice is but a breath of air
Caught within the winds of change
Nearing the end of sound's domain

It had been brought to my attention
Such feelings are not our inventions
The hunger is actually what we are
In degree of unconscious decisions
Made with reptilian brain stems
It's a wonder we got this far

Still I want more
More than the hungry poor
More like a hungry lions roar
Posed to pounce
Upon the prey
I would love
To touch
Your pretty face
And share my hungry heart
With you
After all
Aren't you hungry too?

A Long,
Long time ago
When I was raring
And eager to go...
I took it every way
But slow...

But now it's later
And I'm feeling rather high
Actually, I would slowly
Like to rock you
Into to my sky

Reaction fulfill
Performance and thrills
Selfishly given in flight
There's no hurry
Perhaps a flurry
I'll be driving tonight
....

I dreamt of you again last night
As so many times before
Again I held you oh so tight
I could have never loved you more

Again I tried to make you stay
I was never quite that strong
Again you turned and walked away
I often wondered what went wrong

Together we made a commitment
To death do us part
But again I lost you before dawn
And again you broke my heart...

Sifted through those old writings
Left alone upon your page
You were but a starlight
In limelight
A magical, musical mage

Cobwebs of memories
Now hanging in the dark
Black widows of emptiness
Slowly devour
My weary heart

Oh how I miss you
Sweet shadow of words
Dreamer of dreams
Daughter of earth
You were like no other
Fresh quickening wind
We shall meet in ever
When ever we can
....

And when I'm finally
Forced to fade
Slight of minds
No longer vague
Inconclusively
Placed on trial
Paradoxically wearing
  A black tooth smile...

Hear no evidence
Of my rebellious heart
Encipher not
My darkest art
For I have loved
And lost it all
Forgive my words
And my resolve
....

I read a stack of psychology books
When my mind went off the tracks
Now I’m but a therapist
With a knapsack on my back

I’ve gone my way a wandering
Through the depths of misery
I come from Babylonia
With a Bible Belt
Whipping me

Borne of milk and honey
The hungry heart is doomed
Ate my cake and ice cream
Everything I could consume

Now I’m old and thirsty
Setting at this ***** bar
Looking for a meaning
Of life as yet so far
....

Her state of imperfection
sustains my desire's
Exploited are her curves
in scanty attire
Exaggerated are her depths
such invigorating designs
Dancing in a dreamscape
of intoxicating lines...

No other thought
can penetrate this trance
My heart beats a rhythmic
meditative chant
Enlightened brush strokes
of excited flesh
Rembrandt yet Van Gogh
Traditional abstract mesh...

Bought then sold
like Faustus Soul
We consult the Devil
   And the moment grows...

This is but a small sad token
Of a promise that has been broken
Spring was but a lie
All her magic has gone awry
There'll be no thawing
Only a frozen heart cringing, clawing
Through the ice of hardship
Left to bare
There'll be no warming
No, not yet here!

Can you feel my presence
When I come to you in dreams
Are your memories of me as pleasant
As the songs we used to sing

Do you know that much about me
I used to know you pretty well
You were the angel in my heaven
Until that day I fell

Do you look at those old pictures
Of when you were a child
I only wanted to be with you
Only wanted you to smile

Do you hate the things I’ve done
Do you blame me for your pain
It’s the fact that I still love you
That keeps me in these chains

Using time as an indication
I measure the distance
   Between you and I...
From light years away
Somewhere out there
In the darkness
On the edge
Of forgetful mind...

It's not so painless
To write about us
Our endless poem
Of tragedies
In broken worlds
No longer tethered
In a place where
Lost lovers flee

It's not so simple
To hold these words together
In the waning of my whispering voice
Yet until the pen shall meets the paper
My heart shall have no other choice

If you feed me the truth
I will swallow
If you carry the torch
I will follow
But if you fall on your knees
At the wall of deceit
I will leave you right there
Where you wallow

I watched it bending, breaking
Blowing in the wind
Every time I turned around
It fell apart again
Still I've held it in my arms
Back when we were young
And I could never let you go
Before the last breath comes

Roses were ripened
Violets were skewed
All of our love'n
Laced in lewd
Oh the things
We use to do
Acts of madness
Unnaturally crude
*******, tied down
Blindfolded moods
Lustful passions
Lacking rules
Psychedelic
Absolutes
Back before we
Became improved
....

Differently
This time around
The roots of tomorrow
Are no longer bound
No debt can ever
Truly be paid
No reward last forever
And even less than a day

Differently now
Don't lose heart
Begin again
This marks the start
Spring has sprung
The days of new
The power to change
Is within you...

Projecting outwards
There's a lot of silly fools
We've all been bent or broken
Branded by the rules

Looking inward
I see a long lost ghost
Forever searching
Worlds apart
I miss myself the most

Gathering it all together
Spread out before my eyes
It all come a bit more clear now
It's great to be alive!

Transitions
Forced upon our psyche's
From treading water
To riding lightning
The changes can be
Somewhat frightening

Spent my days
In a cage
Fighting off a world of rage
Stronger and stronger
I became
Desensitized and now I'm lame
Smote I did to survive
Just to live another life
Where truth is hidden
In despair
I can never truly be free
From there...

Within the coming moons
While the universe parades
The stars which were once in line
Shall all become misplaced

Leading to the transfer
Of heart and soul to mind
The universe we know
Shall no longer leave us blind

The rapture of our being
Free to open wide
No more in between
No more other side

All the multiverses
Converging into one
All a sudden knowing
Where we all come from

Yet perhaps endless knowing
Is more than just a drag
And that's why over and over
We all keep coming back

She broke his heart
Forevermore
Burn his bridge
Slammed his door
No returns, not a word
She sealed his heart
With his deserves
He had it coming
His reckless ways
She pays him back
All his days
........

I fell in love within a dream
It’s the damnedest thing!
A lady I’ve never ever even seen
Somehow I knew we were meant to be
And somehow I’m sure
She’s somewhere out there, looking for me

Of course infatuation plays the biggest part in this
I wouldn’t believe that she exists but my heart insists
She’s so deliciously wild yet elegantly tame
Her beautiful eyes drive me madly insane

All these emotions emerge from this lucid dream
Yet I can hardly describe what this most lovely lady really means
In my heart she’s hope in a world grown cold
In my passion she flames igniting my soul
In my mind’s eye she’s perfect, pure, and free
She’s obviously the fulfillment of all that I need
....

How do we change
Societal's day
When a sloppy hug
Well... seems a bit gay
Could it be as simple
As a smile or a wave?
How do we change
What will it take...

Perhaps
A kind word with eye contact
Let the little things go
Quickly forgive a mistake
Now you're on a role...
Calmly relax
Think the little thing through
The reality is
It's not just our's
This world is their's too

Take a deep breath
And know in your soul
Every out burst, every bit of road rage
Adds to the whole

We all play a roll...

Although right now
It seems quite calm
These waves of peace
Out on our lawns
Truth is, the violence
Defines our hearts
One thing in common
We share that mark
That fable of entitlement
He smote his brother

This crazy realm

Imagine the illogical
A common sense that lacks
Parasitic phenomenon
Clinging to ones back
Involuntary commitment
To a shadow haunted state
Just behind the unconsciousness
  Unable to feel safe

I hate to sleep alone
When one eyes opened wide
When the shadows go a swirling
Up the walls and down my spine
But I've felt too many things
In the journey of my soul
I'll take them to the grave
When the shadows lay me low

To Rebel
Who is god
I can’t tell
The creator
Of time
The drawer
Of lines
The giver
The taker
Of hell?
A bit
Too much
For my soul
   To tell....

Twelve billion years, I’m still here
Existing beyond the void of love and fear
Where nowhere becomes somewhere
And emptiness becomes me
Bound by the hierarchies
And called of spirit to be free

Subjectively pursuing the objective life’s best
My soul ever fighting this simple-minded quest
Still I proceed and the vanity never ends
As fast as I can put it down, I pick it up again

A god that ascends or a god that descends
It makes me no never mind
I probably worshipped one or the other
In a better vanished time

Time in a moment disintegrates
Love like a molecule evaporates
Thoughts are like clouds passing over real loud
On into this world they penetrate
Solutions with new problems that complicate

Blinded by neuroses my desires run wild
I turn over control to my inner lost child
Developmental damage on the ladder of my soul
Pretending not to notice my issues become my foes

Twelve billion years, somehow I’m still here

She blossomed in early spring
Spread her wings and flew to me
The beauty of her gender shone
A fawn-eyed girl no man had known

The world was hers for the takin’
Her heart was ripe for the breakin’
No place to run, no place to hide
A broken heart is how she died

Now she lives on in my mirrors
To face this truth my greatest fear

How can I be a fat hog
Whiles you suffer
I must insist

Pork and beans

Surf and turf

A salad full of green leafy veggies

For our health

‘Til my pantry’s runs bear

Love is an energy
Humanity it’s roots

You may not fear

A million tears
Heartache and misery

Euphoric relief
The wings of protection

From going mad
The silence of faith

No need for any
