I took over this page
When the Poet died
He had a lot of followers
And so I lied
I started writing
Under his traveling name
I’m pulling your leg
But wouldn’t that be lame?

If I could only explain
What it is I feel
When the darkness consumes
My body and will
Tides of longing
Crash my shore
Haunting echos
Of love lost wars
Deeply ingrained
The shadows of time
I carry them with me
In riddles and rhymes
Letting them out
So I can breathe
Oh what stains
One life can leave

Running from the thunder
Hiding in the trees
Superstitious people
Your will is hardly free
Casting the unlikeliness
Of a loving killing god
Stolen from the pagans
By a crucifying mob

It's time to wake up
WAKE UP

Worshipped on the mountain
Forsaken down below
Superstitious people
Fearing for their soul
Casting their inventions
Making holy war
Pretending not to notice
The ****** killing floor

What is it that stirs
The dreaded selflessness
Despite the misery
Of doing the right thing?

I don't mind
When you're weak
When my ear is what you seek
When your voice

While being transported
To a doctors appointment
I rode in the back of the van
Behind the fence
In hand cuffs and leg irons
Another day at work for the
The two prison guards up front
But for me, my first time seeing
Outside the prison walls
In over two years...
There was a feeling of longing
That ***** my mind
I begged them please
Leave me in the darkness
While I do my time

A groan of growth
The true love sigh
Eyes that stare
And wonder why

Behold the life
That's in your midst
Through your fingers
It all can slip

And bring you down
Next to me
See I have lost
Two maybe three

Like the dog
That's once been fed
I'll keep coming back
   Until I'm dead...

Shimmer or shine
Silly or saddened  
Shy or acting lewd
We have all taken our turns
Playing the victim of fools
Shrouded in yesterday's shadows
Caught in everyday loops  
I've no need to hold you down
And make you tell your truth's

So please feel free
Be not bound
To sweet words
That only confound
I'll have no heart
But to do my part
And spread the love around

Memories
I hold mine dear
I wish I'd never
Crossed you there

In the back lands
Of desperation
Where wayward spirits
Are swept away
I go there when I grow weary
We all get lost and rearranged

Of flower traps
Petals filled with
Sweet cream sap
Curves or crevasses
Such lustful lines
I refuse to burn

I took a familiar nightmare
For a frightening final ride
Facing all my failures
Feeble fable, foolishness
And freakishness, inside
Intense, **** ya, you bet!
To say the fracking least
The finality of a fearless
Forgotten rotten kind of beast
Now forever starving
At the final festive feast

As if a giant wand
Pointed down from the sky
In a big bang your soul
Magically arrived
I fell down
To my wandering knees
I've never felt a soul
   So lovely indeed...
In the simple proximity
Of heaven on earth
Beautiful creatures hath
Creatively giving birth
Dreams in the flight
In the hours of rest
Passion that peaks
In a flash of the flesh
Surely your poems

Forgive me
My friends
For running behind
All this poetry
Gets blurred
In my mind
The stories
I buy, beg
Borrow and sell
Heaven bound
  Enchanted
The trickery of spells  
Mesmerizing
And captivating
As if time stands still
I'll try to catch up
    After I chill...

There's no single point
Where we became ourselves
No sacred moment
That sent our spirit south

All these different experiences
Bouncing around our heads
Gathered from a life time
Of pleasure's painful
Pure misguided dread

Love beyond measure
A fleeting slight of hand
An absolute description
That solitude demand

Still we cannot see
Whats tearing us apart
Staring in the mirror
At our final work of art

On the spectrum of energies
I am actaully a positive charge  
Where you see negativity
I'm not willing to starve
Where you bow down
And forfeit your voice
I am really loud!
I have no choice
But to be the big mouth
Liberal in the crowd

They say:  
"What ever will be, will be"

If you can wrap your mind
Around death
And misery

They say:
"This too shall pass"
Accepting that
Suffering shall extend
And there'll be relief at last
Somewhere in the end

"Everything will be okay"
Says a voice within your head
But I'm beginning to wonder
If we'd all be better off dead

Where we all have reached
Each and every lucky one of us
Still standing on our feet

Gasping for new life
Surfing in the stream
I just want to say to you
Life is but a dream!

Slow down, don't leave
Take a moment out
  Let yourself breathe...
There, in your psyche
Behind your silent pain
Tap into that storm cloud
And simply let it rain!!

Empty those old cabinets
Of filed foul regrets
Twisted through your memory banks
You haven't processed yet

There in your psyche
Hidden in plain sight
A need to guide others
By your poetic gift of light

Let it reign, let it shine
Pour your words upon the line
We all share a creative soul

I read your pain
And I remember when
Things weren't so clear
When adulthood began

Bigger than life
The emotional ride
The stress that we feel
The shadows we hide

All of lives questions
Will need to be asked
Choose only answers

And so it's still dark
From last night
On into today

I have yet to see
A single sun ray

Should the sun come up
Behind a grey dull sky

With not a spark to guide
My wondering eyes

Poetically blind
I try with all of my might

But I can't find nothing
Not a single thing to write

   Blinded by
This long winter's night....

Again he came and froze the world
His eyes as white as snow
Stubbornly refusing to leave
His frost at zeros below

No wisdom does he offer
Under his frozen tundra Breath
Blowing and wailing  
'Til not a sign of life is left

Our muses all have gathered
On a tropic island beach
Even magic while he's here
Is simply out of reach

Thawing on my alter
A poem of warmer days
I shall keep a fire lit
'Til he is on his way

I once got caught
In a devil's deal
Jokers, jacks
A queen of thrills
A full house
Of faceless cards
I once got dealt
A hand of liars

Yet life is that
A poker game
Double down
While you remain
Go all in
And take a chance
Win or lose
Your shirt and pants!

Hands tied
I can only stare
As the Media force feed us
This world of despair...
Attributes assigned
These devils share
Threatening us with terrorism
The commonalities we fears

Expendable at bay
The lepers we must despise
Insecurity the infection
Growing in our minds
The will of the rich
The voiceless poor
Blood stains
Institutions
The harlot's of war
These are
"Our" governments
Ruthless money ******!!!

These are not merely words
Spun across a page
In unequal syllables
Phonics enraged
Chaotic break downs
Inconclusive
At their peak...

Chasing after sailors
Crystal moon lit bays
Deep within my harbor
My very own mermaid

Flying through my window
Wing a fluttering
I can feel you in my heart

From far above

Captured off guard
Forced enlistment

In the moment
Of regrets
In the perils
Of my plea
Time stuttered
And stalled  
And she was rid of me...

She showed up shinning
Shy southern smile
I knew it was her
From her HP profile
I said, I'm Traveler
But please call me Tim
It's so good to finally meet you
Where on earth have you been
In the fleeting moments that followed
Everything just seem to go full throttle
Then suddenly she was gone
A week filled with fun and song

It's lost on me
As you can read
I have no need
For misery
All that's blue
Is but a sea
Beneath the waves
Where we can't breathe
So fill my sails
With thankfulness
Come navigate
These sea's of bliss
And bring about
A better days
Where you and I
Can ride the waves
Of happiness
And piece of mind
To weather all
The storms of time...

Somewhere
In a twisted
Loop of time
  Separate from yesterday
We were left behind
Popping in
Mostly out
Of sight and mind
A whispering shout
Echoing rhymes
Mere memories
Imprinted strong
Desperation thrives
In the early dawn

When real were things
Larger than soul
Mightier where misfits
Dared to roll
To bitter end
And back again
Inside of cave
Where meaning descend
In darker places
We all have been

And so we put
Our two cents in...

How very blessed you must be
If you can truly relate
To being with your eternal mate
With not a thought of being free
Isn't that how it was meant to be?

While the rest of us are not so blessed
In fact our lives are quite the mess
Eternal mates lost to fate
Have you ever really felt
The emptiness of such a place

So please
Quash the grimmest face
And give us cheaters
Just a little
Break!

From behind my eye
I take it all in
The hatred, the loving
The refusal to bend
I see the desires
The motivation of views
The forges we set
Molding our youth

I see the blind side
Of brilliance
The brilliance
Of being blind
Watching it all unravel
From outside of time
But mostly I see
A world of dread
Unsettling inside
My weary head

Feel the unrest
The light is lost
Into the darkness
We're forced to cross
Pulling triggers
To purge our fears
Policing minorities
In riot gear
Drones and armies
Satellite eyes
I won't believe
There's a single
Human that
Needs to die!

Oh blind me now
To the ways of sin
So that I may bind
Myself within
Rip it out
This heart of lust
Take away it's
Conditional trust...

Deafen my senses
To unaware
Cast my shame
Into the air
Ruptured
Drowning
In guilt's despair
Bring on the numbing
Of all my cares

With a bottle of beer!

It appears that there
Are lonely hearts on here
Strangers that long to greet
Worlds apart prepared to meet

To extend friendly word
Across lines and boarders
To dry their subtle tears
On a friendly strange freeloader

It appears that life
Is getting older
Colder and bolder
And so I share
With all my lovers
My busy hungry shoulders!

I haven't been writing as you know
Primarily dew to the ice and snow
The chill that sets within my bones
No, not a single message home

I haven't mentioned
My points of views
Now that
The frozen tundra
Controls my moods
Plow the drive
Shovel the walk
My frozen fingers
Can hardly talk

And you so warm
In your southern state
Where the winter chill
Is not your fate
Not even an extra blanket
Or a hot coco
Oh how blessed to be
Of a warmer soul!

The uneasiness of
When we're exposed
To what we detest
Shines bright
Through our souls

All that we hate
About ourselves
Projected onto the world
Is hardly stealth

Forward I am
Friend to human
I just want to be me!
Comfortable in skin
Come and dive in
My love
   Will always be free...

Once I traveled
Back in time
In an attempt
To put things
  Back on track...
Chopped off the head
Of all evil
But the head
  Eventually grew back...
Rewinding time
Even further
I forgot a thing or two
Something about
Something I'd done
Somewhere in time with you....

And so they prayed
Then they hugged
And went their own way
Magical feelings
Natural chemicals  
Within healthy
Minded brains
A sensation of knowing
Children's eyes glowing
Spirits and souls
And holier ghost
Shaking, falling
   The proof of slain...
Vivid are our
Childhood memories
Of the acceptable insane
...

In our arrogance
We must admit
The disqualifications
Of our wits
The foundation
Of our operative minds
Subjectively trapped
In space and time

A claim to know
A mere belief
Ripened, fallen
Dying leaf
Landing on
The forest floor
There my love
I know no more

Perhaps next time
I could come with you
Into a world
Of love and peace
The two of us as
Sentient beings
Living and loving
Never a regret
Surely an existence
  We haven't had yet...
Holding on forever

A burnt out star
