May 2014 Pleased to Meet You
Pea
I am scattering
like light, like dandelions
minus glimpse of hope.
I walked for eternity
and could not find one place
to sit and rest my tired bones in peace
that did not have car atrocities echoing in the distance
and did not have styrofoam cups poisoning the ground.

For once, I would like
to know what it would be like
to find a clear creek and
scoop up the crisp water
with my bare hands and naked soul
and drink its essence
without disintegrating
from the chemicals.
belated earth day poem
Apr 2014 Pleased to Meet You
-
1- the rabbi did see my breast that night and your sadness scared me
#2- you kissed my cheek and dumped me a week later
#3- you never fell out of love with me and i never fell in love with you
#4- you were almost dating my friend and told me not to tell anyone
#5- you lied to get me to like you and smelled like curry.
#6- you had a girlfriend and let your high friends violate my privacy. you slept with my friend a week later. you were the first boy i've ever had *** with and the first boy i've ever truly regretted.
#3 again- you bit my ******* and my brother walked in. you haven't been non-perverted towards me since.
What if I'm the one who loves more
I give and give
He takes and takes
He says thanks
I forever wait.
What if he loves me more
and I can't help it,
unsatisfied,
unfair, his heart I tear.
What if our love for each other is to abstract
immeasurable,
inexplainable with words
only felt.
